Insert the ignition key a third time leaving the key in the ignition lock cylinder. Keep the ignition in the LOCK position for the rest of the procedure. 6. Release the door lock switch. The chime will sound 3 chimes, which signals that the transmitter programming/diagnostic mode is active. 7. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time on the keyless entry transmitter for approximately 4 seconds. -

The fingers of the above-Mentioned tool, extend too far down the back of the wheel hub and bearing assembly. The seal can easily be damaged; water intrusion may then reduce the life of the bearing assembly. Note: if the seal is damaged, it is recommended that the assembly be replaced.
