Born and raised in Laguna Beach, , Lauren Conrad has grown up in the public eye as the star of MTV’s hit series LAGUNA BEACH. Her spin-off show, , was rated as one of the top shows across all of the cable networks.

The Lauren Conrad brand continued to evolve in 2007, after she launched her first clothing line; The Lauren Conrad Collection. Lauren’s second line debuted shortly thereafter in October 2009—LC Lauren Conrad, sold exclusively at Kohl’s.

Additionally that year, she added “author” to her resume, signing a three book deal with Harper Collins. Lauren’s first novel, “L.A. Candy” came out in June and placed #1 on Best Seller List for over a month. Her second book, “Sweet Little Lies” was recently released on February 2, 2010 and also hit number one on the NY Times Best Seller list.

The Lauren Conrad Collection made its national debut at Project Trade Show in Las Vegas in August 2007. Lauren’s fashion line reflects her upbringing in Southern California, and includes: dresses, tops, silhouettes with novelty detailing, playful accents, clean lines and shapes. The collection was an instant success and is now sold in over 500 stores across the country. The Lauren Conrad Collection has also appeared at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios, in , for 2 consecutive years. Lauren also designed a dress for the Trophy model at the 2008 Emmy Awards. Her line is currently being reworked and will re launch.

The LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls Spring 2010 Lookbook is currently out, and features the reality- star, turned designer’s, latest feminine apparel, with a California vibe. This collection is a contemporary lifestyle brand, which will launch in the women’s department of approximately 300 Kohl’s stores, and sold online at www.Kohls.com. The brand is ultimately planned to expand to all stores nationwide. LC Lauren Conrad will consist of apparel, and may expand into additional categories such as footwear, jewelry, handbags, intimates and sleepwear.

She has had endorsement deals with Hasboro, AT&T, and Sony—to name a few. Lauren has made appearances on talk shows such as the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, Live, Tyra Banks Show, Live with Regis and Kelly, and Rachel Ray. She has also been seen in numerous publications such as USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes as one of the top 100 and has graced the covers of Cosmopolitan, SHAPE Magazine, Rollingstone, Teen Vogue, Seventeen Magazine and CosmoGIRL!

In 2007 Lauren became the first ever spokesperson for mark. Cosmetics, appearing in ad campaigns and mark.’s online magazine. In 2008, Lauren, mark, and the Avon Foundation launched their first-ever philanthropic campaign—m.powerment by mark, a campaign that is dedicated to empowering young women to make their mark in the world. The campaign is committed to preventing the cycle of dating abuse and partner violence, a cause very important to Lauren.
