Nicole has just finished her Master's degree at the Manhattan School of Music. Nicole has toured in , South Africa, and the , and has sung concertsin Milan, Vienna, San Juan, and New York. Predominantly an opera singer, Nicolehas sung theroles of Mimi in La Boheme, lhe Countess in The Marriageof Barbara Murrell (Set Design and Scenic Artist Figaro,and most recentlyhas given a concertfeaturing Strauss'Last Four Songs. Prior to joining the production team here at Theatre Three, Ms. Murrell has been a Scenic De­ Nicole'sbiggest passion lies wilhln Latinmusic. She has painted Mariachi, or belting boleros in local restaurants. on everything from church pageants to operas, from local theatre to Broadway. Designing and painting stage scenery was an idea planted in her from an early age, having grown up in Dallas and seeing the artistryof Peter Wolf, who designed sets for Dallas Summer Musicals and various other shows. After earning her Journeyman level in the national billboard and sign painters' union, Victor Guerra Ray (The Street Musician) she began working with Peter Wolf's studio in 1975.
