Position: Bat Boy/Clubhouse Worker FLSA Status: Hourly Non-exempt (part-time) Start Date: April- September

Roles And Responsibilities:  Fill all water coolers for dugouts and bullpens before game.  Carry equipment such as bats, balls, helmets and any other gear necessary, to and from dugout when asked or needed.  Any other duties asked by the Clubhouse Manager, Players, Trainer, or Manager.  Retrieve foul balls that remain on the field during the game and bring balls to umpires.  Being aware of the game and paying close attention to umpire needs during the games.  The bat boys will report directly to the Clubhouse Manager. Skills:  Some knowledge of the game of baseball  Willingness to learn, honesty and strong attention to detail.  Dependable with a professional attitude.  Hard working and versatile with the ability to work in fast paced environment.  Good communication skills and the ability to deal with all personalities. Requirements:  At least 16 years old with reliable transportation to and from Classic Park.  Must be available to work at least 60 games during the 2017 regular and post-season, if necessary.  Ability to work well with others and as a team.  Takes initiative and has a hardworking, positive attitude.  Ability to work odd hours throughout the summer months.  Be able to arrive for work one hour prior to start of game and remain at work until approximately one hour and 30 minutes after each game.
