She has been commendably appreciated for her outstanding endeavor in organizing Spoken Tutorials which comprise of Software Training Workshops via ICT based TLP under the aegis of NMEICT. Ltd, Bangalore About digiSOS: DigiSOS, a safety app for the android users, has been conceptualized as a social impact app for digital age generation. DigiSOS requires active cell phone as well as data connectivity. When SOS from DigiSOS is activated, text message (SMS) and email are sent to the pre- defined emergency contacts. Location coordinates is sent also sent. User can also activate high volume alarm siren to attract attention from immediate surroundings. SOS can also be activated in silent mode if so desired. Options are provided to contact emergency services like ambulance, police and fire station. The Microsoft Security Response Centre(MSRC) has appreciated him for remediating the issue. 10) Adithyan AK of Third year has been appreciated by Apple for helping the Apple Web Server Notifications safer by finding and reporting security vulnerabilities and has recognised him as potential Apple Security Researcher. The Apple has appreciated him for remediating the issue. 11) Adithyan AK of Third year has been appreciated by Oppo Security Response Center for finding and reporting security vulnerabilities. The Oppo Security Response Center has appreciated and awarded $500. 12) Bhopal smart city Hackathon and UCEN Hackathon : Student Name: R.B.Vigneshwara and S.Pranesh Kumar of III IT B Have made an IoT project on "Accident detection". And has been selected for “B-Nest incubation center”. UCEN hackathon: It is a hackathon organised by University of Nagercoil in which an chatbot for farmers using API and AI is created secured first prize. 13) B A Srri Saran of second year received “Best Speaker-2019 Award” in Federal Bank speak for India. 14) R.G.Amrithaa of Third year won Second place in ECHO 2k19- Codemania coding contest organized by CIT, Coimbatore. 15) Aravind Selvaraj and Balajiprabhu G of II IT won I st Prize and cash prize of Rs10,000 in Hacktech'18-CODING CONTEST held at Karpagam College of Engineering,Coimbatore 16) Sudharson and Surya Naraynan from IV IT has got Internship offer in the TCS INFRAMIND finals held at pune. They are selected in the top 10 among 20000 participants all over India. 17) Ragul S, Sairam B of III_IT_B, Python programming in the 12th National student Convention 2017-2018 - SAE India at MLR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad won Second prize. 18) ICT Youth Talk 2019: Department of IT has coordinated Youth talk event organized by ICT academy. 150 college student participants from all over Coimbatore have participated in the event. 19) Ms.Tharanya Chikku Raj of second year got selected as Top ten contestant in ICT YOUTH TALK-Regional Pre Finals held at SKCET. 20) Vignesh Shankar S of second year won First place in Codathon Event - Elements 2k19, held at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore 21) COE Automation Software: Faculty Name: Dr S Sivabalan Created software automation for Controller of Examination, objective of the software used to bring the entire examination process including Result Publication under one umbrella. The Application was developed using PHP as front End and Mysql is used for storing the data with the support of auto periodic backups. 22) Infosys campus connect Inspire Award: Faculty Name: Mr.Diwakaran M Recognized as SILVER Level partner under inspire in Infosys campus connect faculty partnership model 23) Awards Received: Dr V Anandkumar received certified trainer from Skill Tester in C++ by ICT Academy Dr S.Balakrishna has received the following awards: 100 Inspring Authors of India 2018, by The Indian Awaz, Kolkatta on 25th Nov 2018. Training and course ware for the students at free of cost 25) Department of Information Technology, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology in association with Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) in association with ICTACT organized Employability Skill Training on “Advanced IT and ITES Training”. It is a 180 hours program comprising training courses like Salesforce BSX Modules (40 Hrs), Cloud Infra Structure and Services (40 Hrs), Data Science and Big Data Analytics (40 Hrs), Employability and Soft Skills (60 Hrs). The highlight of this training program is, upon successful clearance of the examination students will get International Certification offered by DELL EMC at free of cost. To add on, TNSDC certification will be provided after the successful course completion. 26) Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Scheme: Department of IT has conducted a 440 hours session course on “Domestic Data Entry Operator” sponsored by Ministry of Skill Development
