Mar/Apr - Issue 2 / 2013 Click Editorial President few days ago, whilst having a chat Louis Aguis A with a foreign friend who is also a Vice President & Event Organizer photography enthusiast, a memory was recalled. Some years back, while Jane Farrugia shooting a particular assignment, I had Hon. Secretary almost finished when an error was displayed Pauline Grech on the camera screen. To cut the long story short, when I arrived back home, I went Hon. Treasurer Raymond Lanzon to check the error out and found, to my misfortune, that all the images I had shot were lost. No software Competition Manager could recover such images. Thus I would love to share some points Mario Mifsud to help prevent or reduce the probability of such an unwanted Social Activities Manager headache. Issue 2 / 2013 - Mar/Apr 2013 7 onrad Neil Gatt was C born in 1977 and is a senior technician from Paola. His interest in photography arose about two and half years ago when he decided to keep a photographic record of the significant stages in the life of Street Fashion London his daughter Chayenne. About two years ago he joined the Malta Photographic Society so as to have the opportunity to meet experienced photographers, to be part of a larger team and to participate in various photographic seminars. Some of the things that he would like to see improved at the Society are: the engagement of a lawyer to help the members in regards to their rights and obligations, the issue of standard Model Release Forms which are legally binding locally and the possibility of a fully equipped studio which can be hired by the members at reasonable rates.

His photography started to expand rapidly as he discovered that photography gave him the opportunity Laura Pausini to meet artists, musicians, models and a host of persons like make-up artists and hair-stylists whom he engages in his photographic assignments.

Conrad’s preferred photographic subjects are fashion, stage photography, new Street Fashion London 2 concepts and

8 Click photojournalism. He uses a Nikon D90 and D800 with a Nikon 18-105 mm and a Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 zoom lenses.

In his short photographic career he managed to photograph Top Model UK Winner in 2010, 2011 and 2012 in Malta and in London in 2012. There he also shot the TMUK and TM Worldwide Official Event 2012 and at the London Fashion Week in 2013. He was also chosen as the official photographer for a Fashion/Reality program Shades and for the Fashion section within a Youth program, both aired on TV. He was also appointed official photographer of the President’s Charity Fun Run 2012. Besides, he co-ordinated a team of 10 photographers covering the MCCF Charity event L-Istrina 2012. The , H.E. Dr George Member Profile Abela, chose one of Conrad’s images as his preferred photograph Conrad Neil Gatt taken during L-Istrina compiled by Anthony Blackman 2012.

In his own words Conrad does not intend to be better or worse, he wants to be different, a creator not an imitator. One can access his web site at www. cngfotography.com.

Besides photography Conrad is also interested in sports, particularly football and volleyball.
