Women race to silver medal at Head of the Charles The Varsity Women’s 4+ of Kelly Donivan, Esther Ja- mieson, Kalyna Franko, Luce Bourbeau, and Kathryn Jones (cox) came off the Charles River with big smiles on their faces. They had passed “at least 8 boats”, and were excited to see how they placed. With bow num- ber 24, they started in the middle of the pack and had to fight their way to the front of the 33 boat pack. When the final times were calculated, the women came sec- ond in the Collegiate Women’s Fours. This is the best result McGill has ever had at the Head of the Charles.
