Hack- ett improved her times each time from the preliminaries to the finals, as she came across with a time of 7.24 seconds to win the 60-meter, after posting a time of 7.28 in the prelims. Hackett trimmed over a half a second off her preliminary time to take the 200-meter in the final run, finishing with a time of 23.32, while her preliminary time was 23.87. Hackett’s 200-meter time of 23.32 was over two-tenths of a second better than the previous meet record time of 23.56 set by Lincoln’s own Davita Prender- gast back in 2007. Hackett trimmed over half a second off her indoor 200-meter time in 200 from her 2009 time in which she won with a time of 23.83. Hackett, now a seven-time national champion, was also named the South-Central Region Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
