Sub: Violation of provision of MCDR, 2017 in respect of Sagar Cements Limestone Mine-I in Pedaveedu Village,Mattampally Mandal,Suryapet District,Telangana State over an extent of 326.44 ha. Sir, The following provisions of Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 2017 were found violated in the above mine on during the inspection on 28/10/2017 by A V Ramesh Kumar,Assstant Mining Geologist of this office accompanied by Sri V.Subramanyam,Chief General Manager(Mines). Rule No. Nature of Violation 11(4) “The holder o f a mining lease shall submit the mining plan to the competent authority for review at least one hundred and eighty days before the expiry of five years period for which it was approved on the last occasion, for mining operations for a period of five subsequent years.” The proposals made in the earlier document approved on 23/05/2014 will expire on 31.03.2018. 02. In this connection, it is brought to your notice that the above violations constitute an offence punishable under rule 62 of MCDR, 2017. 03 You are advised to rectify the above violations immediately and intimate the position to this office within 45 (forty-five) days from the date of issue of this letter.
