Ks FOR DAYS The Texas A&M pitching staff is on pace to set a school record for strikeouts in 2019. With 433 strikeouts through 39 games, the Maroon & White are on pace to hang 621 Ks through the 56-game regular-season schedule. The school record for strikeouts in a season is 612 set by the 2010 squad, the only season the Aggies have ever reached the 600-K mark. With a sufficient run at the SEC Tournament and NCAA Championship, the Aggies could flirt with becoming just the second SEC team to post 700 strikeouts in a season, potentially joining Vanderbilt’s 2015 squad that recorded 703 strikeouts.

Bush, the 41st President of the United States and a great friend to Texas A&M’s Department of Athletics. The tribute patch artwork is representative of the shield element from the official President Bush 41 logo. Additionally, as approved by the Bush family, the patch will incorporate Texas A&M University’s official colors of maroon and white to celebrate President Bush’s life and service while expressing the 12th Man’s love for him. One of the most memorable moments at Blue Bell Park came on March 5, 2016 prior to a game against Yale when President Bush threw out the first pitch as the Maroon & White faced his alma mater. 200-K CLUB In his start at LSU, JOHN DOXAKIS became the 18th Aggie player to register 200 career strikeouts.
