Junior Squash Clinics

Our fall Junior Squash Clinics with Assistant Squash Professional Gavan Hitchenor begin on Saturday, September 28 and run every Saturday for 9 weeks ending on November 23. 8 2019 ROBERT BANKER CUP DOUBLES TOURNAMENT

The 13th Annual Robert Banker Cup Doubles Tournament will be held September through November. This tournament honors the many years of service that our fellow member and friend, Robert Banker, has devoted to the Club, particularly his leadership of the doubles squash program.

Women and men of all levels are eligible and may register now through early September on the sign-up sheets in the squash lobby and the locker rooms. Sharon Bradey, with assistance from the tournament committee, will pair players to achieve evenly matched teams. Matches will be self-scheduled with the finals taking place on Friday, November 15, 2019.

Based in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the Quartet includes Mikhail Bondarev (violin), Ekaterina Belisova (violin), Alexei Popov (viola), Anton Andreev (cello) who are all graduates of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. The Quartet’s repertoire includes the music of Borodin, Tchaikovsky, Glazunov, Taneyev and Stravinsky.
