Classical Munchkins This interactive, fun, and free program for preschoolers offers hands-on learning at libraries and museums all over the province. Link Up Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute brings us this internationally acclaimed program, giving elementary students a chance to CLASSICAL MUNCHKINS perform along with our full orchestra. Artists in Residence with Halifax Regional Arts In collaboration with school music specialists at Halifax Regional Arts, two Symphony musicians offer workshops, masterclasses, and performances with our city’s talented young musicians. Symphony 101 Led by educator Adrian Hoffman, this all-ages program offers free sessions at the library, online Q&As, and free pre-concert chats. It’s a great way to get behind the scenes and inside the music. SYMPHONY 101 Library Series Always happy to spin a yarn and tell a tale about composers, Symphony bassist Max Kasper hosts and performs at these free noon-hour concerts at several Halifax, Colchester, and South Shore libraries. This series has been running for almost 30 years! The Berkeley Seniors’ Series Thanks to the generous sponsorship of The Berkeley, our full orchestra performs free concerts for seniors on Tuesday afternoons. For details, see page 23.
