N.I.Q. No.4 of 2021-2022 of Assistant Engineer, Serampore Highway Sub-Division, P.W. (Roads) Directorate

Sealed quotations are hereby invited by the Assistant Engineer, Highway Sub-Division No.-I, P.W. (Roads) Directorate from bonafied ,resourceful and specialized firms for “ Routine maintenance of R.O.B over – chord Line” at Dankuni of Serampore Highway Sub-division under Hooghly Highway Division No.-II, P.W. (Roads) Directorate during the year 2021-22 in the district of Hooghly as per given annexure with the N.I.Q.

Scope of Work: The work involves i) removal of debris in the form of sand,earth droping,rubbish from vehicles plying over the bridge on a daily basis ii) clearing of the drainage spout of the bridge deck slab free from all dirts as and when required iii) Removing the weeds and roots from any parts of the bridge as may be visible and normally accessible as per direction of the Engineer-In- charge .iv) Any other work of nature as may be necessitated as per the condition of the site of the Bridge like partial temporary barricading with bamboos on both side of the bridge in case of accidental events on the bridge proper or its approaches, proving and fixing notice boards on both sides of the bridge etc. The quotationers shall have to quote his rate in the prescribed proforma to be issued along with the quotation papers inclusive of all the taxes and incidental charges whatsoever. Rate should be quoted both in figure and words as per attached schedule and should be inclusive of all cost including tax , GST-12% duties and all other incidental charges complete. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reasons thereof.

Intending quotationers will have to submit in advance an application along with duly attested copies of the following certificates, credential for being entitled to receive the quotation documents for the aforesaid work to the “Assistant Engineer, Serampore Bridge Highway Sub-Division, P.W. (Roads) Directorate, Hooghly”.

The quotation paper will be issued on production of valid and original Registration Certificate,/ Trade Licence Certificate. PAN Card // Professional Tax receipt Chillan / Valid Professional Tax Clearance Certificate / GST registration Certificate,/ Labour Registration Certificate from Labour Department, to be accompanied with the Application. (Income Tax Return) Acknowledgement Receipt for latest assessment year.

1) The documents submitted by the Quotationer should be properly indexed and all the pages shall be numbered and Self Attested/Signed. Copies of all Original Papers need be self attested and also to be attested by the Gazetted Officer.(Principal of any reputed College or University, Member of Legislative Assembly, 1st Class Magistrate or any officer authorized to attest). 2) Original of the above documents should also be produced to office of the undersigned for checking, if necessary. 3) The quotation papers including terms and conditions can be seen in the office of the undersigned in any working day between 11-00 A.M. to 5-00 P.M. 4) The quotation paper including terms and conditions will be issued to the Agencies after production of the above documents to this office of the undersigned for scrutiny by the undersigned and only the qualified agencies will be eligible to receive of quotation documents and offer his/their rates in the prescribed annexure attached with the N.I.Q. 5) Earnest Money: The amount of Earnest Money is 2 %(Two percent) of the Quoted amount offered for the work in the shape of Bank Draft / Pay Order of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of the Executive Engineer, Hooghly Highway Division-II, P.W (R ) Directorate to be payable at Chinsurah as required, to be submitted along with sealed Quotation 6) Regarding issue of quotation paper, decision of the “Assistant Engineer, Serampore Bridge Highway Sub- Division, P.W. (Roads) Directorate,Hooghly”.is final and binding. 7) Detailed information for application for quotation paper, Receive of quotation documents, dropping and opening the documents at office of the Assistant Engineer, Serampore Bridge Highway Sub-Division, P.W. (Roads) Directorate, Hooghly are as within the following dates and times : 8) The intending quotationers /participant will have to to submit credential certificate of having execute similar nature of work within a period of 5 (five) years. 9) The contract period is valid for 1 (one) year from the date of commencement of the work. 10) The successful quotationer will have to start the work as per the date of commencement mentioned in the work order issue from this office 11) Earnest money ie 2% of the quoted amount which will be produced during submission of quotation papers will be treated as part of performance security deposit in favour of successful quotatiner 12) The successful quotationer will deposit 8% of the total quoted amount out of total performance security 10% of the total quoted amount during execution of formal aggrement. 13) On successful completion of work for one month, the contractor will submit the bill in triplicate to the “Assistant Engineer, Serampore Bridge Highway Sub-Division, P.W. (Roads) Directorate, Bansberia, Hooghly” The payment will be made on the basis of certification of the work done by the “Assistant Engineer, Bansberia Highway Sub- Division-I, P.W. (Roads) Directorate, The payment may be with-held in case it is observed that clearance is not made as per above mentioned scope of work within 3 days and it is found that this occurance successively repeated for minimum 3 times in a month 14) If any non performance of the work is observed from the end of executing agency as mentioned in “scope of work in the NIQ the Engineer –In charge has sole right to engage another agency to continue the maintenance work as mentioned in this NIQ and the cost involved for that period will be paid to the new agency by the Engineer –in Charge and by the same amount will be deducted from the amount of performance security of the original agency. 15) The Executive Engineer,Hooghly Highway Division-II will be the Engineer-In –charge of the work and he will be responsible for certificate of completion of the work. Any other person in the department may be authorised to supervise the works during the execution of the contract 16) The Engineer-in-charge on receipt of the bill in triplicate at the Division office will arrange for payment to the contractor after making statutory deduction from the bill as applicable.. 17) Date & Time Schedule :-

18) The sealed quotation documents to be dropped in the Tender Box kept in the chamber of the Assistant Engineer, Serampore Bridge Highway Sub-Division, P.W. (Roads) Directorate , Hooghly and opening the same place in presence of the intending quotationers or his/their authorized representative, who may be present at the time of opening.

19) During opening of quotation, Assistant Engineer Serampore Bridge Highway Sub-Division, P.W. (Roads) Directorate, Hooghly may call Open Bid or Sealed Bid after opening of the quotation papers, to lower down the rate, further if it is required.

20) N.B.: In case of any un-scheduled holiday on the aforesaid date and next working date will be treated as scheduled prescribed date for the purpose. Other Terms & Condition :- 1. The quotationer will have to quote their rate both in figure and in words. 2. The successful quotationer will have to execute the work in consultation with Assistant Engineer, Serampore Bridge Highway Sub-Division, P.W.(Roads).Dte.
