Lightning Run from Strikes a Chord with Coaster Enthusiasts

The park was already home to Thunder Run, which received a makeover for the new grand opening. Lightning Run is a Hyper GT-X coaster designed and built by Chance Rides, Inc. The Hyper GT-X coaster features a 100 foot lift hill with an 80 degree drop, giving passengers the effect of travelling almost straight down.
