1. One day Orientation Programme for the new entrants. 2. A Symposium on the topic ‘The Teacher with a difference’ . 3. The Students’ council organized a few programmes under the agencies of science Club, Sports club, Literary association, fine arts association and Readers Forum 4. In collaboration with the Dept. of Kannada and culture Vachanakara Ambigara Choudayya day was celebrated. 5. ‘Bendre Kavyanubha’ a programme on Dr. D.R. Bendre poetry was organized in collaboration with D. R Bendre Memorial National Trust, Dharwad. Director of the trust Dr.Shamasundara Bidara Kundi and Artist Mr.Ananth Despande were the resource persons. 6. Radio Manipal organized a programme in the college to create awareness about HIV/AIDS 7. Under the Working with Community programme the student-teachers visited Spandana School for the differently abledd at Nejar, Santhekatte. Mr.Janardhan, the Head of the institution briefed the group about the activities of the institution 8. As a part of the curriculum under Socially Useful Productive Work a workshop was held at Adithi Art Gallery, Kunjibettu 9. Sutdent-teachers visited Alwa’s Educational Institutions Moodabidri as a part of their One day Educational visit. 10. A programme of demonstration lessons, micro teaching and macro teaching experience for the benefit of all the student-teacher as a 1 compulsory course requirement was organized. 11. Teachers Day was celebrated in association with the Alumni Association of the college.
