iCloud Overview
iCloud – A tool that enables Apple users to sync, backup, and share their content seamlessly with their Apple ID and password.
What is an Apple ID? An Apple ID is a user name you use for everything you do with Apple. Creating an account for an Apple service, such as the iTunes Store or the App Store, creates an Apple ID. An Apple ID allows you to access other Apple services. You don't have to create a new account for each service—just use your Apple ID.
Apps/Services that are Compatible with iCloud iCloud Drive Store all your presentations, spreadsheets, PDFs, images and other kinds of documents so they are available on every device. Photos Store every photo and video you take automatically. Create albums to share with your friends and family. Mail Changes you make to your email account on one device will automatically transfer and sync to other registered devices. Contacts Update/create a contacts list on one device and automatically sync with all the others. Calendars Create new or sync email calendars across all your devices. Reminders Set one reminder, and it will notify you on all your devices, so you’ll never miss an important event. Safari Start a search on your phone and pick up on your iPad or Mac computer. Sync Safari settings and bookmarks across all devices. Notes Created your shopping list on your iPad and forgot it at home? No worries. It will be waiting on your iPhone when you get to the store. Passbook (iPhone only). Save boarding passes, movie and event tickets, loyalty cards and more here with other compatible apps. Documents & Data Store documents and data on iCloud. (Upgrade to iCloud Drive available on devices running iOS8/OS X Yosemite.

Restore or set up a new device from an old backup. Keychain Save account names, passwords, and credit card numbers securely. Find My iPhone/iPad/Mac Use WiFi and GPS navigation to locate a lost or stolen device. Sound an alert tone to help you find it.
To access your iCloud settings - (On a mobile device) – Open the settings app. Tap the option for iCloud. Some settings are simple On/Off toggles. Others have additional options. To view these, just tap on the one you’d like to view. (On a Mac) – Go to System Preferences and choose iCloud. Log in with your Apple ID and Password. (On a PC) – You first need to set up your account on an Apple device, such as an iPad or Mac computer. Then, install iCloud for Windows and sign in with your existing Apple ID to get started. (On the Internet) – Visit www.icloud.com and login with your Apple ID.
Storage Options- When you create an account with Apple, you automatically get 5GB of space FREE on iCloud. If you find that is not enough space for you, Apple offers additional paid storage plans.
