Buffalo Bills Fans Visiting Northeast Ohio This Weekend Can Enjoy Discounted Admission Fans Will Also Receive Discount in Hall of Fame Store FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 11/06/2019 BUFFALO BILLS FANS VISITING NORTHEAST OHIO THIS WEEKEND CAN ENJOY DISCOUNTED ADMISSION FANS WILL ALSO RECEIVE DISCOUNT IN HALL OF FAME STORE CANTON, OHIO – The Pro Football Hall of Fame is offering Buffalo Bills fans, traveling for the team’s road game in Cleveland this weekend, $5 off admission to the Museum. Fans will also receive a coupon for 20% off in the Hall of Fame Store. The promotion runs Saturday, Nov. 9 through Monday, Nov. 11. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is conveniently located under an hour’s drive from downtown Cleveland. Fans must wear Bills gear to the Hall of Fame and ask for the discount at the Ticket Office. Team gear includes jerseys, t-shirts, hats and other visible apparel. Guests visiting the Hall will enjoy seeing all 326 Bronzed Busts, including the new Class of 2019. They can also experience the Super Bowl Theater and view the Lombardi Trophy for Super Bowl LIV that is on display in the Lamar Hunt Super Bowl Gallery. BILLS ARTIFACTS ON EXHIBIT The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Collection contains countless artifacts from the Bills’ storied history. Several of those priceless artifacts are currently on display in the museum including: • Kicking shoe worn by Steve Christie in the 1992 AFC Wild Card game against the Houston Oilers in which he kicked the game-winning field goal in OT to complete the greatest comeback in NFL history (32 points) as the Bills defeated the Oilers 41-38 on Jan. 3, 1993. • Buffalo Bills hat worn by Kathryn Smith on Sept. 11, 2016 when she became the first female to serve as an assistant coach in an NFL regular season game. • JIM KELLY’s Robbie Knievel designed motorcycle. • JIM KELLY’s 1994 NFL Throwback jersey.     THE COFFIN CORNER: Vol. 25, No. 4 (2003) James Lofton Wide receiver James Lofton was the No. 1 draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 1978. An Academic All-America choice from Stanford, he was also an accomplished track performer and won the NCAA long jump title as a senior. Lofton's speed and "soft hands" made him an immediate deep-threat receiver from the moment he entered the pros. It was something he would remain throughout his long career with Green Bay, the Los Angeles Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, and the Philadelphia Eagles. In 16 seasons, Lofton caught 764 passes for 14,004 yards - an average of 18.3 yards per catch. Nine times he recorded more than 50 catches in a season. His 14,004 career-reception yardage mark was an NFL best at the time of his retirement, while his 43 games with 100 or more yards receiving ranked third. Extremely durable, Lofton was the first NFL player to score a touchdown in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Many of his 75 touchdown receptions came on long passes when he simply outran the opposition. During his nine seasons in Green Bay, Lofton was selected to play in seven Pro Bowls. He led the Packers in receptions each year except one (1979). Five of those years he gained more than 1,000 receiving yards. He was only the fifth player in NFL history to do so, joining the likes of Lance Alworth, Steve Largent, Don Maynard, and Art Powell. In 1987, Lofton was traded to the Raiders, and two years later joined the Bills.

    TO ALL FFL OWNERS: The 6th annual Fantasy Football League Draft will be held on Saturday, August 12. The NFC will draft at 7:00 and the AFC will draft at 8:30. If you don't know what conference you are in then look at the standings from last year. It will be held at the my house in Loves Park, 650 Sydney Avenue. If you can not attend, please contact me as soon as possible so that other arrangements can be made. We have made a number of rule changes this year so be sure to read through the rules that are contained here. The highlights are a reduction in rosters to 14 players per team, an increase in the entry fee to $25, only 4 teams making the playoffs from each conference, and expansion. We are adding 4 new teams to the league, two in each conference. The expansion teams throw a couple of new wrinkles into the league. First, we will have to realign the divisions in each conference; we are going to 3 divisions of 4 teams each.
