The Symposium will be held back-to-back with the 8th meeting of the Technical Committee of the International Network on Financial Education (INFE) and its working group and Advisory Board meetings (for INFE full members only) which will take place on 6 and 7 November. Lunch and coffee for all delegates will be provided during breaks on both days of the symposium. Travel Documentation

Valid passports are required for all delegates entering India. Please also note that a visa is required for most nationalities to enter India and it is strongly recommended that participants verify requirements with the embassy/consulate in his/her country. Apply for a visa online: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html Please indicate when registering if you require an official invitation letter for visa or administration purposes. The organisers will send you a letter and appropriate documentation to provide with your application when your registration is confirmed. Visas for participants of Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Sudan, foreigners of Pakistani origin and Stateless persons can be issued only after clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Therefore, online applications for visa must be made by such delegates at least 60 days in advance. Delegates are personally responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of the correct documentation prior to their departure. We cannot assist in procuring passports and visas. Please ensure that your international traveller’s insurance is valid and that coverage will be available in India for the duration of your stay. We do not accept responsibility for any consequences whatsoever from a delegate failing to ensure that he or she has complied with the necessary health, passport and visa requirements. 4

Getting there

The hotel is located around 30-35 km from international and domestic terminals at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Taxi It is recommended that you take a taxi to the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel. Journey time is around 1 to 1.5 hours. Taxis can be reserved in the arrivals terminal.

Metro The nearest metro station to the hotel is Karkarduma (). If you prefer to use the metro, follow the route below: 1. From I.G.I Airport to New Station via Airport line (Orange line) Change 2. CLIMATE: November is autumn time in Delhi with pleasant weather with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C.

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY: The power supply voltage in India is 230/240 V / Frequency: 50 Hz. It has two round 4 mm (0.157 inch) pins.

HEALTH CARE AND VACCINATIONS: Sufferers of dust or pollen allergies should carry proper medicines when travelling to Delhi. Participants are advised to speak to their health care provider about any vaccination requirements at least 6 weeks before departing for India.

TIPPING: It is not customary to tip in India/Delhi, but locals give tips for exceptional service if they feel the person carrying out the service really deserves it.

TAX: Goods and services tax (GST) has been implemented in India from July 1, 2017. The tax rates varies from zero% to 28% which is added to the price of most goods and services in India. Visitors must pay it on all goods and services that they buy and there is no refund of GST available when you leave the country.
