A Device called Track ball was the first type of pointer invented in 1941. The mouse we use made by in 1968. A computer mouse is a used to data. It was called mouse because it had a wire at the back like the tail of a living mouse.

❖ We use a mouse to point at or select something on monitor. ❖ A Computer mouse looks like a living Mouse. ❖ It has a tail, which is attached to the CPU. ❖ You can move it with your hand. PARTS OF A MOUSE

Wire (Tail)

A Mouse has a tail, which is fixed with a CPU.

Scroll Wheel

It is a hard or rubbery disc (wheel) on a computer mouse that is located between the left and right mouse buttons. It is used to move a page up and down. Exercise
