Established in 1948 by Maurice Gwyer, Miranda House is one of the premier women's institutions under the University of Delhi. CHRYSALIS'20 INTERNSHIP & KNOWLEDGE FAIR

The Placement Cell organised the annual internship and career fair on 5th February 2020 to cater to the students' desire for professional exposure and development .The title for the fair was 'Chrysalis', the process which in itself denotes transformation and development. The Fair commenced on an inspirational note from the Principal Dr. Bijaylaxmi Nanda, the Convenor Dr. Hena Singh and the Faculty Advisor Shruti Sharma. There were also distinguished speakers from various fields like, Chandni Dabas, Editor at India Today, Carlos Muscari, Secretary of the Embassy of Argentina, Ashok Sangwan, Senior Manager at Wipro Pvt Ltd. Our campus witnessed a great deal of companies who came to recruit the country's brightest minds from the country's no.1 college. The companies, in turn, provided the ground for students to explore their goals and fulfil their career aspirations. The Fair opened doors to over 25+ companies ranging from Decathlon, Nexus, Akshay Patra and many more. It also rendered more than 1000+ stutdents an opportune occasion to avail themselves of the opportunities. Job Offer COMPANY GUIDELINES 1.The Placement Cell, Miranda House strictly enforces One Student One Offer policy. Exceptions to this rule, as below:

•Placed students shall be eligible to appear for interviews of esteemed/ dream status companies offering a higher CTC. •Students may get multiple offers due to non- disclosure of results in time by companies.

Under these circumstances, the Placement Cell Miranda House provides the students with the liberty of choice. The decision of the student shall be considered final. Once the offer letter is received, the placement cell ceases to be the point of contact between the student and the recruiting company.

2. The Placement Cell should be notified of all the prerequisites of an internship/ job in advance. Non-compliance to this provision by the recruiter would amount to a breach of contract and gives the cell the right to initiate action against the recruiter, as deemed
