March 25-31: Susquehanna Heartland Wine Trail Month Wineries provide wine tastings daily, and some provide food and entertainment on the weekends. It’s Mint Weekend at Shade Mountain Winery with mint brownies, mint watergate salad and a mint lemonade. On Saturday, live entertainment will be provided by Scott Bachman & Greg Snyder from 1-4pm. On Sunday, live entertainment will be provided by Runaway Stroller from 1-4pm. Register today for Fero Winery’s Bottles and Brushes guided art event on March 29. Spyglass Ridge Winery hosts Natascha & the Spy Boys with smooth blues-jazz and keyboard magic on March 28. www.pawinetrail.com

March 26-29: Skin-and-Bone with the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble Squeal with delight when two elderly sisters satisfy their appetite for the unusual in “a great new play by an up-and-coming playwright…that is deliciously complex and eerie.” For mature audiences. March 27: "Woman of Distinction" The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will be the site of the debut of a special issue of West Branch Life featuring “Women of Distinction” on Friday, March 27, from 6-8 pm. Mary Sieminski, along with co-authors Janet Hurlbert and Dr. Judith Gouldin, will be on hand to autograph copies of the magazine. Sieminski will make brief remarks about the issue which features reprints of the monthly articles which appear in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette and have been eagerly read. The magazine, published by the Williamsport Sun-Gazette is destined to become a collectors’ item. March 27: 7:30 PM Legendary music icons, Three Dog Night, their 4th decade bringing with them some of the most astonishing statistics in popular music. In the years 1969 through 1974, no other group achieved more top 10 hits, moved more records, or sold more concert tickets than Three Dog Night. Songs like "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)," "Joy To The World," "One," "Black & White," "Shambala," "Easy To Be Hard," and "An Old Fashioned Love Song," have crystallized Three Dog Night's continued popularity. www.caclive.com Williamsport

March 27: Union Tanguera (Tango) 7:30 PM at the Weis Center. Union Tanguera, founded in 2002, is a French Argentinean contemporary tango ensemble company utilizing the music and dance of traditional tango as the foundation for their creative choreography. The Weis Center will host a free social dance or milonga in conjunction with the performance. Thursday, March 26, 6:30 to 8 pm, Weis Center Lobby. Members of Unión Tanguera will teach participants basic steps and movements of tango to live music. March 27-29: Easter Egg Hunt & Dog Bone Hunt at Kohl's Stony Hill Farm March 27 shop opens 9 am till 7pm. March 28 shop is open 11 am till 6pm- Egg hunts as follows. Ages 0-3 start at 1 pm, ages 4-6 start at 1:30, ages 7-10 go at 2 pm, ages 11-15 at 2:45. Rain date is 3/29 at the same times.

March 28: 6th Annual Spring Gardener’s Fair & Craft Show at Country Farm and Home 10:00 am-3:00 pm FREE admission to this Indoor Craft Fair featuring Local Artisans, seminars, kid’s activities, crafts, vendors, and food. The Gardener’s Spring Fair is presented by Union & Snyder County Penn State Master Gardener Program. March 28: The Randy Show at Brushstrokes Come on down- we will be hosting “The Randy Show” at 1:00 pm in Studio B. There is no charge for this fast moving, entertaining presentation by owner Randy Snyder. He will wow you with his knowledge of minutia in the art supply world while showing you all kinds of cool things. Jane Albin will pop in halfway thru to talk about her favorites and show you all kinds of things to inspire you. These two together will make you want to create, paint, read, or just plain old color! March 29: Easter Eggs-travaganza 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Come on out to Dancing Bear Farm for an eggs-travaganza of fun and games. Kids decorate their own bunny bags and then search for hidden eggs and natural treasures. We’ll have face painting, lots of games and prizes, and finish the day by roasting marshmallows over the campfire. Families are encouraged to come a little early and bring a picnic basket to enjoy your lunch on the grounds before the festivities begin. A most eggs-cellent afternoon! April 1: DakhaBrakha (World Music) 7:30 PM The Weis Center for the Performing Arts and the Campus Theatre welcome DakhaBrakha to the stage. DakhaBrakha is world-music quartet from Kiev, Ukraine. Reflecting fundamental elements of sound and soul, Ukrainian "ethno-chaos" band DakhaBrakha, create a world of unexpected new music. The name DakhaBrakha is original, outstanding and authentic at the same time. It means "give/take" in the old Ukrainian language. April 1-May 6: Caring for Communities Earth Month Celebration Sponsored by the Merrill W. Linn Land and Waterways Conservancy and the Buffalo Creek Watershed Alliance, this annual series of family friendly events engages people in learning about and gaining appreciation for our local natural environment. Events include wetland explorations, owl prowls, star gazing, canoeing/kayaking, bicycle rides, wildflower walks and much more. Everyone welcome. April 4: Peking Acrobats (Family Discovery/Contemporary Circus) 2:00 PM at the Weis Center for Performing Arts. The Peking Acrobats are a troupe of China's most gifted tumblers, contortionists, jugglers, cyclists, and gymnasts complemented by live musicians playing traditional Chinese instruments. They set the world record for the Human Chair Stack on Fox's Guinness Book Premiere where they astounded television audiences with their bravery and dexterity as they balanced six people precariously atop six chairs, 21 feet up in the air, without safety lines! April 4-18: Packwood House Museum Art Exhibit-Through Hubble's Eyes Noted artist and custom rug designer Robert W. Haynes will exhibit a new series of paintings in the Packwood House Museum's Kelly Gallery. Based on the latest images from the Hubble Telescope, Haynes' original paintings feature a mesmerizing and expansive look at our universe. A public reception on Saturday, April 4, from 5-8 p.m. will kick off the exhibit, with a special presentation by Dr. Edwin F. Now-April 4: Offerings of the Union County Library System The Public Library for Union County’s March Art Exhibit in Gallery 255 features oil paintings by Sharon L. Witmer. There will be an Author Talk, “On the Edge of Extinction” on March 26, Music Together Classes on March 27, and on March 31 hear a master gardener presentation on honeybees or visit Peru with world traveler Elsbeth Steffensen as she presents a slide show of her trip to Peru. On April 2 Bruce Teeple will discuss local African-American history. The West End Library will have a spring craft and games night for kids on March 26 and a workshop, “eBooks and Audiobooks at Your Fingertips!” on March 30. Now-April 30: World of Little League Scavenger Hunt & Play Ball Weekends Visit the museum and participate in a scavenger hunt through March 31. Answer all of the questions correct and receive a free vintage pin. Play Ball just like Major Leaguers by showing up at the museum wearing your favorite MLB logo merchandise and receive free admission to the museum on Saturdays and Sundays in April.
