Please read Chapter 7 called ‘We’ll Never Let Him Go’ from page 29 to page 30. Then we would like you to complete the Character Portrait Farmer Bean worksheet. Draw a picture of Farmer Bean and choose five words to describe Bean’s appearance. Next circle three words that match his personality best.

Challenge: Write two paragraphs. The first paragraph will describe Farmer Bean’s personality and the second paragraph will describe his appearance.

Spelling This week we will learn the rules of how to add the suffixes ‘ful’ and ‘less’ to root words, which makes the words into adjectives. Remember how we have already learnt that a suffix is a group of letters at the end of a word that changes its meaning.

The dragon knew he was defenceless when confronted by the beautiful princess. The forgetful man decided his lost diary was useless. It was disgraceful that the superhero was powerless stop the battle. The successful pupil wrote a paragraph filled with thoughtful sentences. The fearless pilot was careless as he landed the plane on the icy road.

Topic - Geography Today we are learning about the landscapes of the UK. In the UK, we are very lucky to have many beautiful landscapes. All around the land is miles and miles of stunning coastlines with beaches, rocky cliffs and coves. Inland, we have many important rivers, stunning countryside, endless moorland and majestic mountains.

Please read the Geography information pages about landscapes in today’s home learning and answer the following questions. You should write your answers on paper or in your home learning book.

Daily Challenge Bookmark Making Would you like to try and make a creative bookmark for yourself or somebody in your family? You can use plain paper or card, cut out into a rectangle shape and then decorate however you like. Maybe find some crafty leftovers at home or simply choose your best colouring pencils and draw a picture or a pattern. Have a look at the pictures for ideas.
