THE MAIN ENTRANCE As you walk into the main part of the church you will notice fonts that hold holy water. We dip our fingers into the font and make the sign of the cross remembering that in our baptism we died with Christ, and with Him, we will rise. On both sides from the pews are the confessionals. When the light is on the Priest is present and ready to hear confessions. Inside, a person has the option of sitting face to face with the Priest or being obscured behind the screen. With the door closed, the light lets others know that the room is occupied and the Priest is hearing a confession. There are two statues, one on each side of the church around the corner from the confessionals. The one on the West side is Gesu Salvatore or Jesus, the Savior. The statue on the East side is of St. Anthony of Padua.
