6 ASSUMPTION OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE GOVERNMENT BY THE LIEUTENANT-GOVERNOR

13 CORONERS ACT
The Clerk, in accordance with section 37 of the Coroners Act 2009, announced receipt of the report by the NSW State Coroner into deaths in custody/police operations for 2017 (received 9 May 2018).
14 LEGISLATION REVIEW COMMITTEE
Mr James Griffin, Chair, tabled the report of the Legislation Review Committee entitled “Legislation Review Digest No. 54/56”, dated 15 May 2018.

Mr Alex Greenwich—from certain citizens requesting the Government ban the permanent conversion of homes into short-term holiday lets and introduce a registration system so appropriate controls can be enforced.
Ms Jo Haylen—from certain citizens requesting investment in public transport and to keep inner west bus services in public hands.
Ms Jo Haylen—from certain citizens requesting the Legislative Assembly call on the Government to address discriminatory clauses in the Anti-Discrimination Act that unfairly penalise gay, lesbian and transgender citizens.
Ms Jo Haylen—from certain citizens requesting the Legislative Assembly call on the Government to adopt Commonwealth guidelines that remove discrimination against New South Wales residents of diverse sexuality or gender.

Ms Jo Haylen—from certain citizens opposing the proposal to close McNeilly Park during the construction of the Sydney Metro Project.
Mr Alex Greenwich—from certain citizens requesting the Government upgrade rather than rebuild the Sydney Football Stadium and direct the savings into health, education and community sports facilities.
(2) The Clerk also announced receipt of the following ministerial responses to petitions signed by 500 or more persons:
The Hon. Anthony Roberts—lodged 11 April 2018—Requesting the Legislative Assembly ensure residential developments in Bundanoon do not damage the environment and existing indigenous ecologies are protected—(Ms Pru Goward).
The Hon. Melinda Pavey—lodged 11 April 2018—Requesting the Government implement an independent environmental impact assessment of the Glebe Island multi-use facility and enforce conditions on maritime and freight operations to protect the amenity of adjacent residential areas—(Mr Alex Greenwich).
17 PLACING OR DISPOSAL OF BUSINESS—LAPSING OF GENERAL BUSINESS
The Deputy Speaker advised the House that in accordance with standing order 105 (3), general business order of the day (for bills) no. 1 (Privacy and Personal Information Protection Amendment (Notification of Serious Violations of Privacy by Public Sector Agencies) Bill) and no. 2 (Civil Liability Amendment (Institutional Child Abuse) Bill), and general business notices of motions (general notices) no. 2578 and nos 2580 to 2598, had lapsed.
18 NOTICES OF MOTIONS SOUGHT TO BE ACCORDED PRIORITY
