Additional information ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Personal Spending Money, Extra Meals, Souvenirs: Every person has different spending habits, but to help you out with your planning, we estimated your average daily expenses. An approximate amount of £20 per day for lunch & dinner (without drinks), and £30 per day as personal spending money (souvenirs, handicraft etc. not included) is generally sufficient. Departs on Sundays from May to September / Group Size: Max. 30 People Itinerary Day 1: Dubrovnik, Croatia Dubrovnik City Tour (L) Make your way to the Dubrovnik harbour to board your “A” category cruiser at 13:00. After enjoying our first lunch together on board, we head off to explore the city with our tour leader and local tour guide. Your guide will show you the city’s must-see sites and teach you about its long and fascinating history. Enjoy your last free afternoon in Dubrovnik to relax at the beach soaking up the sun, wander along the city walls, walk the marble streets to discover hidden gems such as cafes perched along the ancient walls, or just sit back and watch the sunset. In the evening treat yourself to some fresh Croatian seafood or enjoy some of the many late-night hangouts to keep you awake into the early hours. Day 2: Dubrovnik - Mljet, Croatia Dubrovnik to Mljet & Optional Pirate Party (B/L) After breakfast, it is time to depart toward the most beautiful and most forested island in the Adriatic, Mljet. This haven of untouched nature, steeped mysticism, olive groves, vineyards and rich forests, is the ideal spot to enjoy a day immersed in pristine natural surroundings. One third of the island is a protected national park and Mljet was declared by Time Magazine as one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world. According to ancient myth, this is where the Odyssey’s Odysseus was trapped for seven years with his lover Calypso. Here you will have a free afternoon to visit the salt lakes, swim, kayak, cycle or scoot around this enchanting island. Tonight is also our infamous Pirate Party (optional), complete with a special onboard BBQ of traditional Croatian cuisine and fun games to play late into the night. Day 3: Mljet - Korcula, Croatia Mljet to Korcula & Korcula Orientation (B/L) Today, after breakfast you will sail off to Lumbarda beach, a charming fishing village of around 1,200 inhabitants. Spend some time here swimming, sunbathing or doing one of the many optional water-sports and activities. Continue onto Korcula, a medieval walled city positioned on a oval-shaped swelling of land pointing deep into Peljesac Channel, mostly famous for being the birthplace of Marco Polo. After an orientation walk, enjoy the rest of the day on your own to wander the medieval streets and check out the markets and many hand-made jewellery shops. Get to the top of the old city tower to enjoy a well deserved drink and to take pictures of phenomenal views. Day 4: Korcula - Hvar, Croatia Korcula to Hvar & Hvar Orientation (B/L) After breakfast you will sail off to Hvar, Croatia’s premier island, the longest and sunniest in the Adriatic, mainly famous for its super-yachts and celebrity status--keep an eye out for Hvar-lover Prince Harry! The island is also very famous for its lavender, sage, rosemary and wine. After an orientation walk, enjoy a free afternoon to explore the 7th century fort ruins overlooking the harbour and taste some local fresh cuisine before checking out the (in)famous Hvar nightlife. Get ready to party with the elite! Day 5: Hvar - Makarska, Croatia Hvar to Makarska & Makarska Orientation (B/L) After breakfast, embark for a exciting day of swimming at different bays along the Dalmatian coast before arriving to the Makarska Riviera, a popular resort town nestled under the massive peaks of the stunning Biokovo mountains. Go for a short orientation walk and enjoy a free afternoon to chill on the beach, get involved in some optional water-sports like parasailing or jet skiing, or to wander through the many cafés, bars and restaurants that line this 1,500m-long beach. After the sun goes down, get ready for an unforgettable night in the infamous nightclub "Deep", set in a natural cave next to the sea. Day 6: Makarska - Omis, Croatia Makarska to Omis & Rafting (B/L) Enjoy breakfast onboard before cruising the calm Adriatic Waters, enjoying plenty of opportunities to swim on the way to charming Omis, a small port town at the mouth of the Cetina River. Surrounded by huge and stunning gorges, Omis was once home to fierce and fearsome pirates who made their living by attacking passing trade ships. The now tranquil town is full of monuments and historic buildings that harken back to its exciting past. Upon arrival we will take a rafting tour of the Cetina River, a high-adrenaline highlight of the trip. Day 7: Makarska - Split, Croatia Makarska to Split (B/L) Today you will cruise along the coast and rest for another swimming and lunch break at one of the amazing coastal beaches. After soaking up the sun and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, you will arrive in Split, 4th Century retirement home of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Appreciate a free afternoon and evening to explore this buzzing city, buy some souvenirs from the markets, enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the numerous cafes along the promenade, and relaxing and chilling by the beach. Day 8: Split, Croatia Split (B) Enjoy one last breakfast before disembarking the boat and saying goodbye to your new friends as your amazing adventure comes to an end..
