The Kansas Legislature has passed some of the strongest 2nd Amendment protections in the nation over the past decade, and the KSRA is committed to continuing that tradition. This election year, we will focus on ensuring Kansans know each candidate’s real position on the 2nd Amendment so voters can send committed pro-gun legislators to Topeka.” As the Kansas affiliate of the National Rifle Association, the KSRA works closely with the NRA as it monitors legislative action, reviews candidate questionnaires, and examines voting records to rate candidates each election cycle. In July we mailed a candidate questionnaire to each candidate running for office in the upcoming state and federal primary election, regardless of affiliation with any party or organization. The answers provided do not denote any affiliation or endorsement by Trust Women, nor does a candidate’s choice to participate in our questionnaire signify affiliation or endorsement.
