Day 2 • Panoramic Rabat • Breakfast at the hotel • Today enjoy a half-day guided tour where you will explore the capital city of Rabat. ••With your guide you may want to also visit such gems as the Royal Palace, the Necropolis of Chellah, and the ••Hassan Tower where you will find King Hassan II and his son’s mausoleum. • Also learn how the leaders would live and protect themselves inside the impressive Kasbah of Oudaya. • Explore the rest of the city in the afternoon at leisure. • Enjoy another evening in Rabat and make sure to check out some local restaurants with Morocco’s unique culinary ••scene. • Rest well! Tomorrow you’ll head to Fes. • Overnight in Rabat. Day 3 • Rabat-Volubilis-Fes • Breakfast at the hotel. • Today your private driver will pick you up at the hotel to travel to Fes via Meknes ••with a panoramic tour of the city. • You will make a stop at Volubilis and visit the impressive Roman ruins. • In the afternoon continue your drive towards magnificent Fes, where you’ll ••check into your hotel. • This evening we recommend sampling the famous Tajine or delicious Couscous ••dishes, or other traditional Moroccan dishes. Recommendations will be ••provided for some of our favorite spots. • Overnight in Fes. Day 4 • Panoramic Fes • Breakfast at the hotel. • Today we will experience Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. Your private local guide will take you to the amazing ••Fes Medina Food market, where the streets are so narrow that transportation is mostly on foot. But look out for ••the donkeys and hand carts! Enjoy the smells, the colors, and the sounds of this ancient place. • Learn about the various souks (or bazars of this ancient market) and enjoy time to purchase amazing souvenirs ••such as leather goods, scarves, spices, ceramics and more! While there visit an old leather tannery to learn about ••this ancient craft! • You will also spend time admiring the Islamic architecture at Al Tarine Madrasa. ••Visit the oldest university in the world, the Qaraouine University, operating since the 9th century and the Jewish ••quarter called Mellah. • You can also find modern art at the Nejjarine Wood Museum and you may also want to visit the AbenDanane ••synagogue dating from the 17th century. • If you choose, you may also want to explore the Royal Palace. • In the afternoon, your driver will take you back to your hotel for some rest. • This evening, you might try to enjoy a stunning sunset at a rooftop bar. • Last night in Fes before heading to Marrakech. Day 5 • Fes-Marrakech • Breakfast at the hotel • Today your private driver will pick you up at the hotel to transfer you to ••Marrakech. • Relax and enjoy the countryside on this drive today. Tomorrow you’ll ••have this unique city to explore. • After your arrival to Marrakech, check into the hotel and do some light ••exploring around the area of your hotel. Day 6 • Panoramic Marrakech • Breakfast at the hotel • Explore the fourth largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco and all its magic with a privately guided tour. • Marvel at the French influence in the New town of Gueliz.
