Champua Biock Is Declared As Containment Zone As Per the Provision EOVID.lg URGENT oFFrcE oF THE cotlEcroR & DrsrRrcr MAGTSTRATE: KEONJHAR Order No. 1o6. /Judl./Date. e4.u.{.?-pzl Keeping in view, detection of COVID-l9 positive case/cases in the ward No-4, vill- Tangarbantala oF.lally G.p under champua Block of Keonjhar District, the ward No-4, vill- Tangarbantala of Jally G,p under Champua BIock is declared as containment zone as per the provision contained in Section 6(2) (i) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 & section 2, 3 & 4 of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 read with the Odisha COVID Regulations, 2OZO & as per the guidelines issued by Govt. of odisha vide No.1663/R&DM (DM)/DI.31.03.2021 for containment of COVID-19 for taking detailed measures for ccnl,acr lracing and contain spread of disease. The following points around containment zone i.e ward No-4, vill- Tangarbantala of Jally G.p under champua Block are declared as sealing points. a) Towards 1OO meters from village pond (East). b) Towards 100 meters (Agriculture !and) (West). c) Towards 10O meters Agriculture land (North). d) Towards l0Qd[gdsutture land (South). Now, therefore, in the larger interest of public and with a view to contain the spread of COVID-l9 it is hereby ordered to implement the following directions. a) Only essential activities shall be allowed. b) There shall be strict perimeter control to ensure that there is no movement of people in or out of the micro- containment zones, except for medical emergencies and fot' maintain supply of essentials goods and services. The supply of Essentials and medical requirements will be made through BDO, Champua. c) There shall be intensive house to house surveillance by surueillance team. d) Listing of contacts shall be carried out in respect of all persons found positive, along with their tracking, identification, quarantine & follow up contacts for 14 days (B0o/o of contacts to be traced in 72 hours) . Email: [email protected] Abstract This paper covers the dynamics of Soapstone Craft of Dhakotha. Broadly this paper can be divided into two parts, i.e., crafts study part and product design intervention part. The crafts study part includes- research methods, craft introduction, crafts location, craft history, available raw materials, craftsmen and existing skill sets, tools under use, involved craftsmanship processes, existing product ranges etc. On the basis of understandings developed during crafts study, this researcher had explored different market specific and end-user focused product design possibilities. The product design intervention part includes different product design interventions and collections developed by researcher with a holistic approach. There are two different soapstone clusters, with different skill sets, i.e., Soapstone carving cluster and Soapstone ପତ୍ଥର କୁଣ୍ଡ or Patthar Kundo cluster; are practicing in same geographical area, so studying and exploring interventions in joint mode was an interesting experience for this researcher.     DETAILS OF ALTERNATE SITES CONSIDERED AND THE BASIS OF SELECTING THE PROPOSED SITE The proposed Iron Ore grinding and desliming unit with slurry pumping station would be located near Joda to transport 30.0 MTPA iron ore slurry to the ISP located near Paradeep in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha. The following factors were considered in selecting the above mentioned location: i) Proximity to the iron ore mines with abundant reserve ii) Quality of iron ore available in these mines are in conformity to the requirement ii) Availability of adequate land and other infrastructure including water and power In order to set up Iron ore grinding & desliming plant, three potential sites have weighed against few critical factors for selection of the most suitable site.     Information( 13 Tahasil & 80 R.I. Offices) CHAMPUA TAHASIL Champua Tahasil started functioning w.e.f. 01.04.1963. The total area of this Tahasil is Ac. 84,754.274. (342.98 SQ. KMS.) This Tahasil is coming under the jurisdiction of Champua Sub- Division and the area of this Tahasil is co-terminus with the area of Champua Block and Champua NAc consisting six R.I. circles namely Champua, Jyotipur, Chimila, Remuuli, Karanjia and Bhanda. This Tahasil is constituted with 151 revenue villages under 23 G.Ps. and newly created Champua NAC which coveres three police stations namely Champua, Joda (part) and Baria(part) . The total population of the Tahasil is 1, 15,103 as per 2011 census. Communication facilities are available from Tahasil head quarter to District head quarter. The principal income source of the people is cultivation and business. Champua Tahasil is situated 50 Kms away from District Headquarters. This Tahasil is surrounded by Maurbhanj District in east, Barbil Tahsil in west, Singhbhum District of Jharkhand State in north and Jhumpura Tahasil in south. Brief notes on R.I. This is the most valuable district level publication brought out by the Census Organisation on behalf of each State Govt./Union Territory administration. It inter-alia provides data/information on some of the basic demographic and socia-economic characteristics and on the availability of certain important civic amenities/facilities in each village and town of the respective districts. This publication has thus proved to be of immense utility to the planners, administrators, academicians and researchers. The scope of the DCH was initially confined to certain important census tables on population, economic and socia-cultural aspects as also the Primary Census Abstract (PCA) of each village and town (ward-wise) of the district. The DCHs published after the 1961 Census contained a descriptive account of the district administrative statistics, census tables and Village and Town Directories including PCA. After the1971 Census,two parts of the District Census Handbooks (Part-A comprising Village and Town Directories and Part -B comprising Village and Town PCA) were released in all the States and Union Territories. The third Part (Part-C) of the District Census Handbooks comprising administrative statistics and district census tables, which was also to be brought out, could not be published in many States/UTs due to considerable delay in compilation of relevant material.
