About the National Leadership Seminar The Hillsdale College National Leadership Seminar is a nationwide conference held two to three times each year that addresses issues of politics, economics, and culture. The first program was held in Colorado Springs, Colo., in 1982 with about 200 business, education, and community leaders in attendance. Since then, more than 20,000 individuals have attended the programs. These conferences have reached millions of Americans through Hills- dale’s national speech digest, Imprimis, and through media outlets including Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, C-SPAN, and National Public Radio.

About Hillsdale College Hillsdale College, founded in 1844, has built a national reputation through its classical liberal arts core curriculum and its principled refusal to accept federal or state taxpayer subsidies, even indirectly in the form of student grants or loans. It also conducts an outreach effort promoting civil and religious liberty, including a free monthly speech digest, Imprimis, with a circulation of more than 3.5 million.
