Councillor Blessett as Chairman, presided over Councillors Barber, Coulson, Lindfors-Windsor, Pelling, and Stevens and the Clerk S Ashby

46.11 To receive apologies for absence. These were received from Cllr Dilks and Shinkins due to Work.

7.11 To receive declarations of interest, if any. Cllr Stevens declared a personal interest in planning application S10/2768 as she is one of the Parish Councils nominated Trustees to the Charity.

48.11 To receive the Minutes of the previous meeting held on 18 November 2010. These were approved The Clerk reported that he had contacted Planning Enforcement again about 80 Bridge Street which will now be visited shortly, Livery where an enforcement notice may have to be issued if no planning application is made by the owners and planting at The Moorings where the developers will be contacted again. County Council will also arrange a survey of the signage from to Stowgate Road. It was agreed that a separate item for Matters Arising would be placed on future agendas.

49.11 To receive and consider the following planning applications and put forward recommendations to the Council Meeting to be held 27 January 2011 or make decisions in accordance with the Committee’s delegated powers: Ref. 50.11 To consider repairs to the roof and side panels of the Bus Stop on Crowson Way It was decided to authorise Euroshell to replace the roof at an estimated cost of £525.00 plus vat. The Maintenance Worker to replace any side panels as required.

51.11 To consider Bus Shelter Cleaning and Inspections in 2011/12. It was decided to extend the contract of Castle Cleaners Ltd by another year for a quarterly clean of all shelters and the telephone kiosk along with inspections of the condition of the shelters and an annual clean of the roof.

52.11 To report the outcome of previous planning applications: Ref. 53.11 Date of the next meeting 7.00 p.m. on 17 February 2011, at The Institute.

At the commencement of the Meeting, the Clerk reported that he had been able to locate a Projector to be used to show Planning Application plans at Committee and Council meetings for a price of £199.00 plus delivery. It was agreed that this should be recommended to Council for approval and purchase.
