Foreign exchange gains/losses Funding for some projects is transacted through foreign curency bank accounts – namely US dollars, Australian dollars, Danish Krone, Euro – and therefore the project funds themselves do not suffer foreign exchange gains and losses. However, the bank balances are held in BRAC UKís accounts in the home currency of GBP and revalued on a monthly basis, and transactions are revalued at the exchange rate at the date of transaction as per the SORP requirements.
