PHILABUNDANCE’S STRATEGIC PLAN Scaling Impact At the beginning of fiscal year 2015, Philabundance released its long-term strategic plan to help guide the organization to make an even greater impact. To realize freedom from hunger, four “pillars” were established: • Relieve Hunger Now: Foster secure and sustainable hunger relief for everyone in the Delaware Valley through greater collaboration at the community level • End Hunger Forever: Leverage our strengths to convene and build communities of interest that inspire, foster and enact an end to hunger • Grow Capacity: Strengthen an organization that has the ability to handle immediate tasks, to innovate new ideas, and to scale responsibly • Sustain Growth: Build a development engine that yields abundant food, funding and relationships to support and enhance our mission Over the year we used a collaborative approach, aligning the leadership team and engaging the staff and Board, to build strategies for realizing our mission.
