A dynamic organization that enhances the self-esteem of the dormant human energy in the Nation! A movement that triggers everybody’s intellect with motivation for development, leadership and Social Change! The Seven Guiding Principles of Jnana Prabodhini’s Work Culture Excellence, Scientific Attitude, Organizational Solidarity, Development, Seeking God in humanity, Hindu view of life, Building a vibrant society Hindu View of Life Way of life is concretized through of festivals, food, ways of tailoring and wearing clothes and through ways of expressing emotions. Indian way of life is different than that of other countries. Within India too, among different states, there are differences in ways of life. The Indian or Hindu view of life defines its way of life distinctly from that of other countries and builds a common base inspite of differences in way of life within its states. Facets and Expressions of Hindu View of Life Expression of Divine Energy : According to the Hindu view of life, the same Divine Energy manifests itself in different forms in all persons in the society irrespective of caste, denominations and religions. India has seen Great Souls emerge in all these, who led their life with this view. • Jnana Prabodhini encourages study tours to study the impact of this view of life on the society in different parts of India as well as study of biographies of great souls of India Purpose of life : Each person should aspire to lead a life for full hundred years with strength, happiness and fullest engagement with work. • Jnana Prabodhini has conceptualized ‘Vidya-vrat’, ‘Veer-vrat’, ‘Vikas-vrat’, and ‘Seva-vrat’. A ‘Vrat’ is a consistent effort led with a self-chosen purpose. It visualizes vratas for earning knowledge and gaining strength for oneself, while serving and working for development of the society. Freedom of Worship : All different paths of worshipping the Divinity lead to its attainment. These paths are respected equally. There also is freedom of not worshipping or praying publicly or freedom to worship mentally only (i.e. by not performing any rituals) or just introspection and contemplation. • Jnana Prabodhini promotes participation of its members in all kinds of festivals, Worship of great souls, reciting scripts from all religions and worship of our motherland to express the respect for all religions. Two types of Practice : Study of natural phenomena through sciences, expression of the same through diversified art forms and creation of wealth and technology to use natural resources is one practice to be undertaken by any person along with practice of prayerful self-reflection (i.e. Upasana) to make a good use inner resources like mind and intellect. • Jnana Prabodhini promotes achievements, study plans and Upasana while working in any field.
