    TOIMINTA- JA TALOUSKERTOMUS 2015 VAHVISTETTU 24.4.2016 Toimintakertomus 2015 VUOSIKATSAUS Suomen Taitoluisteluliitto järjestää vuoden 2017 taitoluistelun MM-kilpailut Helsingissä. Tapahtuma on erittäin merkittävä urheilutapahtuma itsenäisyyden juhlavuoden aikana ja on osa erilaisten tapahtumien jatkumoa, jossa juhlistetaan 100-vuotiasta itsenäistä Suomea. Kisajärjestelyt aloitettiin toden teolla vuoden 2015 alussa, jolloin sekä järjestelytoimikunta ja kisojen operatiivinen tiimi aloittivat työnsä. Järjestelytoimikuntaa johtaa ministeri Anne Berner. Kisojen pääsihteeriksi valittiin Henri Nordenswan, jolla on kokemus niin vuoden 2009 taito- luistelun EM-kisojen kuin myös vuoden 2011 muodostelmaluistelun MM-kisojen järjestelyistä. Osana MM-kilpailuihin valmistautumista aloitettiin myös järjestelyt hankkeessa nimeltä ’Koko Suomi Luistelee’. Uudistettu rusettiluistelu -konsepti kymmenillä paikkakunnilla ennen MM- kisoja on osa Suomen juhlaa, mutta myös siivittää meitä kohti MM-kilpailuja. Vuoden 2015 Finlandia Trophy -kilpailussa Espoossa jätimme haikeat jäähyväiset Kiira Korven arvokisauralle Kiiran siirtyessä uusiin haasteisiin. Avajaisesitys, jossa Kiira luisteli mukana, antoi 20 vuotta täyttäneelle kilpailulle hyvän startin. Suomen Taitoluisteluliitto sai taas isännöidä kilpailua, jossa sekä omat urheilijamme että maailmalta saapuneet taitoluistelijat saivat näyttää taitojaan aivan kilpailukauden aluksi. ISU Challenger-sarjan kilpailuna Finlandia Trophy Espoo on vuosi vuodelta kehittynyt ja yleisö on ilahduttavasti löytänyt tapahtuman.

    TOIMINTA- JA TALOUSKERTOMUS 2011 Vuosikatsaus Vuosi alkoi hienosti Kiira Korven EM-pronssimitalilla. Helmikuussa taitoluistelu nousi Sponsor Insightin tutkimuksissa Suomen toiseksi arvostetuimmaksi urheilulajiksi. Kevättä väritti muodostelmaluistelun menestyksekäs MM-kilpailu Helsingin jäähallissa. Muodostelmaluistelun MM-kilpailu onnistui erinomaisesti. Suomalasijoukkueet (Rockettes ja Marigold IceUnity) saavutti kultaa ja hopea. Myös taloudellisesti tapahtuma onnistui hyvin. Loppuunmyyty jäähalli tempaantui kisatunnelmaan jo ensimmäisestä esityksestä alkaen ja tapahtumasta tulikin yksi vuoden suomalaisen urheilun huippuhetkistä. Vuosittaisessa Urheilugaalassa kilpailu oli ehdolla parhaaksi suomalaiseksi urheilutapahtumaksi sekä sykähdyttävimmäksi urheiluhetkeksi, ja selviytyikin urheilutapahtumasarjassa kolmen parhaan joukkoon. Tapahtuman viestintä painottui uusiin medioihin, joka suurelta osin vaikutti MM-kilpailun loistavaan lipunmyyntitulokseen. Tämä kokemus toi paljon uutta osaamista Suomen Taitoluisteluliitolle. Kilpailun kynnyksellä panostettiin lajin imagomainontaan. Toimenpiteiden avulla muodostelmaluistelun näkyvyys nousi huomattavasti. MM-kilpailu tarjosi hyvän mahdollisuuden demonstroida muodostelmaluistelun merkittävyyttä taitoluisteluperheelle. In Single and Pair skating all entered participants skate the Short Program. At the European Figure Skating Championships the best placed 20 Men and Ladies and 16 Pairs qualify for the final Free Skating. The Ice Dance competition starts with the Compulsory Dance, which all entered couples have to skate, the best 30 placed couples will continue the event with the Original Dance and at the European Figure Skating Championships the best 16 placed couples qualify for the final Free Dance GENERAL RULES ISU Championships are held in accordance with the International Skating Union (ISU) Regulations. The ISU Judging System used at the Figure Skating events is the one adopted by the 2004 ISU Congress. It is constructed as follows: 1. COMPETITIONS OFFICIALS Technical Panel The Technical Panel is composed of the Technical Controller, the Technical Specialist and the Assistant Technical Specialist, each one from different ISU Members (countries). A Data Operator assists them for recording purposes. An instantaneous slow-motion video replay system operated by a Replay Operator supports the Technical Panel in the identification of the performed elements. - The Technical Specialist, assisted by the Assistant Technical Specialist, identifies and calls the performed elements and the specific Levels of Difficulty of certain performed elements (e.g.
