Originally I got started collecting antique images for my first eight dolls in because I needed a safe and easy way to transport dolls on a plane to display at a doll show. That started in 1999. It’s funny how one thing leads to another. The eight boxes became my first dollmaker’s workbook which was very well received. It committed me to loving and collecting paper. Meanwhile the scrapbook craze was just getting under way. I guess it was only natural to want to go in that direction as well. So here are the results of that interest which has lead in so many directions and projects. Most incorporate doll images in one fashion or another of a vintage style from images from the mid 1800’s through the 1950’s. Die cuts have also become all the rage of late and so I’ve incorporated a lot of these shapes into my designs. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I.
