Hi Tech Performance Products SPARK PLUG RECOMMENDATIONS READ THIS FIRST!

NOTE: Install a fresh new set of short reach NGK cooler heat range spark plugs (see chart below) gapped at .035" BEFORE installing the supercharger kit. Installing a new set of plugs AFTER the supercharger installation is much more difficult.

As a service to our customers, we have listed the type plug required for your application below. If you decide to use a different brand other than NGK, be SURE it is colder than the stock replacement plug, and a short reach design. Long plug tips hanging into the combustion chamber is not recommended.

Use the chart below to find the plug for your application if spark plugs are not included in your kit. We do not recommend Platinum plugs because the use of octane booster or leaded fuel will shorten the life of the plugs dramatically. Note: Iridium plugs will fire under much higher cylinder pressure than any other plug we ever tested. You will not need a hotter ignition and/or coils with iridium.
