MCACA FY20 Panel Review Dates Applicants are welcome--but not required--to attend the review of their application. This is a great opportunity to hear feedback on your application as well as learn from other applications. You can also request your panel report from the MCACA staff after the start of the fiscal year. Applicants have the option of attending in person or viewing the panel online through your computer, tablet or smartphone. Please note that the MCACA staff will be busy facilitating the panel and will not be able to offer technical assistance in setting up the Go To Meeting application or trouble shoot if you are having difficulty. You may want to test out your capability on an earlier panel, and allow yourself enough time to get set up. The web meeting is for passive viewing only; you will be muted and no comments will be accepted. The Web meeting will be paused for lunch if needed. Video and phone conference access information is listed before each panel review group. For those coming in person, meetings will be held at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) office building, 300 North Washington Square, Lansing, MI 48913 (corner of Washington and Ionia). When you enter, the receptionist can direct you to the meeting room, you may enter and exit quietly at any time, please sign in. Parking is available at two nearby public ramps, one directly south of the building (enter off Ionia) and another ramp directly west of MEDC. Metered parking is also available; be warned that Lansing issues tickets frequently. As a reminder there is no interaction between panelists and viewers. Applicants, board members or others should not discuss applications with panelists before, during or after the review. Panels open to the public at 9:30 am. Each application will be reviewed in the order listed below. We cannot guarantee a specific time that an application will be reviewed, so come or join early to make sure you don’t miss the review. Many applicants listen all day to maximize the learning benefits and see this as a professional development opportunity. Be sure to invite staff and board members to hear the review as well.
