Smith Shop is located in Ponyride, which is a dynamic space dedicated to supporting creative artists and socially aware entrepreneurs alike with affordable studio spaces in order to promote artistic growth in a city burdened by an economic crisis.

On view will be an exhibition of new work by a Detroit artist, Michael E. Smith, whose work was included in the 2012 Whitney Biennial, MOCA Cleveland in June 2013, and the Power Station in Dallas 2014, the Ludwig in Aachen, and the Milan Triennial 2014.
