NOTA 3: También hay que advertir de que a veces el desconoci- miento alcanza también al año de nacimiento (sólo a partir de los años sesenta el anuario ATFS incluye este fundamental dato, aunque sólo de los 50 primeros hasta 1968) por lo que pueden faltar, según pruebas y épocas, marcas de varios atletas, y en consecuencia tambien podrían sobrar marcas que aquí figuran. NOTA 4: Por este motivo, a veces, al inicio de cada prueba, se pone interrogación al lado de la sigla M (mundo) ante la duda de que la marca europea signifique mejor marca mundial (a veces también. se añade la interrogación a dicha marca europea). Asimismo en los períodos en que es muy probable la existencia de marcas no detectadas he puesto puntos suspensivos con inte- rrogación, así: ¿. .?
