THE DISINFORMATION, PROPAGANDA, REVISIONISM & CENSORSHIP COLLECTION 2 (10-16) : All the Books They Still Don’T Want You to Read… original torrent server account : http://1337x.to/user/ZIZBILIT/ presents THE DISINFORMATION, PROPAGANDA, REVISIONISM & CENSORSHIP COLLECTION 2 (10-16) : all the books they still don’t want you to read… ´¬ THE DISINFORMATION COLLECTION 2 (10-16) THE DISINFORMATION, PROPAGANDA, REVISIONISM & CENSORSHIP COLLECTION edition 2 (10-2016) : all the books they still don’t want you to read about matters as diverse as governmental misinformation & propaganda, inappropriate censorship, atrocious cover- ups and unsolved murders. The contents of this torrent still contains to a large extent the same set of ebooks, audio files and films about how society has been misinformed or has misinformed itself to either carry out atrocities or cover-up atrocious blunders. These include contrasting accounts of various issues such as the Iraq war and the crimes of the Bush family. For those wanting to understand the abuses made by the government, I’ve included theoretical work by authors who I consider essential; but sometimes learning truth is both a revelation and a heavy burden. Chomsky’s frank description of the disturbing relationship between how our governments are more accountable to the extremely wealthy than they are to its majority, is eye-opening but quite depressing. I’ve also included Mike Moore’s work which, although not taken seriously by many because of his ‘in your face’ comic writing style, many of the points he makes are equally (or sometimes more) valid than academics commenting on similar matters (and in contrast to Chomsky’s taxing elocution, they’re fun to read). This collection is dedicated to those people who question political propaganda and make their own decisions about what the truth is. In other words, it’s dedicated to you. | Music-Theatre-Language Ebooks 2 THE DISINFORMATION COLLECTION 2 (10-16) I will update this collection every time I find new works that add to my knowledge of disinformation and the search for truth. If you have any advice or actual ebooks/recordings to add to this collection, please send them to: [email protected] LAST UPDATE : 24 October 2016 | Music-Theatre-Language Ebooks 3 THE DISINFORMATION COLLECTION 2 (10-16) Many of the books within the DISINFORMATION collection currently still downloadable unfortunately have titles that are simply too long for windows to read. This has made the task of downloading the entirety of this torrent essentially impossible for almost everyone and thus a completely frustrating endeavour. I apologise to all those who have tried but failed to download this large mass of controversial, interesting and sometimes frightening documentation but I hope this new collection will set things right. The first task was to reorganise the material and shorten the titles where necessary. The positions of the items within the collection were checked individually and replaced and a number of changes were made to the folders and their contents. The collection now consists of 9 major sub- headings. A list of these headings follows, which includes a descriptions of any major changes or additions made : [1] PROPAGANDA [2] CENSORSHIP This section includes an additional selection of 120 works of literature which through the years have been censored or banned for various reasons.* [3] HISTORY & REVISIONISM [4] POLITICS & THE ECONOMY Many of the books and articles in this section are by (or about) Noam Chomsky who is particularly vocal in this particular area. For this reason, a separate archive for works by Chomsky has been included, and this archive includes for the first time the important work Manufacturing Consent which Chomsky co-authors with E. Hermann. A few words should also be said about the sub-heading ‘political correctness’. This is a contentious area of discussion and involves the patterns of behaviour applied within society which are based on a perception of the ‘right’ way in a predetermined moral or ethical sense. This has its roots in contemporary psychology and is problematic because both sides of the argument have merit but also disturbing flaws as highlighted in these articles. *The next edition will include two important works on censorship, the first concerning the censorship of horror comics and the second concerning the British political censorship hacksaw driven at Cronenberg’s controversial filmisation of Ballard’s ‘Crash’. | Music-Theatre-Language Ebooks 4 THE DISINFORMATION COLLECTION 2 (10-16) [5] DISINFORMATION Includes three new additions, Everything You Know About Sex is Wrong, The Disinformation Encyclopaedia of Transhumanism and Everydata The Misinformation Hidden in the Little Data. [6] RELIGION & ATHEISM [7] CONTROVERSIES & COVER-UPS [8] TERRORISM & THE STATE ‘Globalisation, Terrorism & the State’ was a sub-folder of [7] CONTROVERSIES & COVER-UPS. This edition, however, sees globalisation and capitalism moving to [4] POLITICS & THE ECONOMY, leaving ‘Terrorism & The State’ to form its own folder. [9] FILMS & AUDIO This sub-heading used to consist only of films. Now I’ve gathered together all audio material taken from DVDs, podcasts and other multimedia sources. The purpose of this is firstly to give the downloaders the chance to cancel this particular section out if they want a quick download. I’m also planning to upload torrents which include either only the ebooks or only the films, audio and other material, although the film material will be more extensive and include more documentaries. In addition to the contents of these folders, there is this PDF document to accompany it and a TXT document containing information useable as metadata. Finally there is the cover graphic which includes covers taken from important books within the collection. | Music-Theatre-Language Ebooks 5 THE DISINFORMATION COLLECTION 2 (10-16) The DISINFORMATION Collection Edition 2 (10-2016) folders & files FILE ZIZBILIT presents … The DISINFORMATION Collection 2 (10-16) - the books they still don’t want you to read....pdf FILE THE DISINFORMATION Collection 2 (10-16) Metadata.txt FILE THE DISINFORMATION Collection 2 graphic.jpg FOLDER 1. Chomsky and Genocide Adam Jones University of British Columbia Okanagan Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada Introduction Avram Noam Chomsky (1928–) may be the most prominent and significant public intellectual of the post-World War Two period. His contributions to linguistic theory continue to generate debate and controversy. But two generations know him primarily for his political writings, public talks, and other activism, voicing a left-radical, humanist critique of US foreign policy and other subjects. Works such as American Power and the New Mandarins (1969, on Vietnam and US imperialism more generally), The Fateful Triangle: Israel, the US, and the Palestinians (1983), James Peck’s edited The Chomsky Reader (1987), and 1988’s Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media (co-authored with Edward S. Herman) hold a venerated status for leftist/progressive readers.

Assuming no prior knowledge, the text offers a clear introduction to the traditional topics of structural linguistics (theories of sound, form, meaning, and language change), and in addition provides full coverage of contextual linguistics, including separate chapters on discourse, dialect variation, language and culture, and the politics of language. There are also up-to-date separate chapters on language and the brain, computational linguistics, writing, child language acquisition, and second language learning. The breadth of the textbook makes it ideal for introductory courses on language and linguistics offered by departments of English, sociology, anthropology, and communications, as well as by linguistics departments. RALPH FASOLD is Professor Emeritus and past Chair of the Department of Linguistics at Georgetown University. He is the author of four books and editor or coeditor of six others. • Language and Mind, Third Edition
Language and Mind This is the long-awaited third edition of Chomsky’s outstanding collection of essays on language and mind. The first six chapters, originally published in the 1960s, made a groundbreaking contribution to linguistic theory. This new edition complements them with an additional chapter and a new pref- ace, bringing Chomsky’s influential approach into the twenty-first century. Chapters 1–6 present Chomsky’s early work on the nature and acquisition of language as a genetically endowed, biological system (Universal Grammar), through the rules and principles of which we acquire an internalized knowl- edge (I-language). Over the past fifty years, this framework has sparked an explosion of inquiry into a wide range of languages, and has yielded some major theoretical questions. The final chapter revisits the key issues, reviewing the “biolinguistic” approach that has guided Chomsky’s work from its origins to the present day, and raising some novel and exciting challenges for the study of language and mind. noam chomsky is Professor of Linguistics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His many books include New Horizons in the Study of Language and Mind (Cambridge University Press, 2000) and On Nature and Language (Cambridge University Press, 2002). Human Nature Human Nature DAVID BER LINSK I Seattle Discovery Institute Press 2019 Description Conventional wisdom holds that the murder rate has plummeted since the Middle Ages; humankind is growing more peaceful and enlightened; man is shortly to be much improved—better genes, better neural circuits, better biochemistry; and we are approaching a technological singularity that well may usher in utopia. Human Nature eviscerates these and other doctrines of a contemporary nihilism masquerading as science. In this wide-ranging work polymath David Berlinski draws upon history, mathematics, logic, and literature to retrain our gaze on an old truth many are eager to forget: there is and will be about the human condition beauty, nobility, and moments of sublime insight, yes, but also ignorance and depravity.
