Date of Inspection: 11.11.2016 Introduction: This Sub-Division is functioning independently w.e.f 28.05.1958.At present this Sub-Division comprises of nine Tahasilsi.eKotagarh,Tumudibandha, Balliguda,K.Nugaon, Daringbadi,Raikia, G,Udayagiri, Tikabali&Chakapad and number etc are given below:- 1. No. of Assembly Constituencies 02 Page 3 of 53 2.Accommodation The office of the Sub-Collector is functioning in its own building like Revenue, GP, Judicial, Nizarat, Emergency and Development section in the main building. Besides this Civil Supply Section, Election, & Social welfare Section are functioning in 4 separate rooms situated inside the premises. There are 50 nos of Govt. Quarters are available for providing accommodation of the Officers and staff. From the quarter Allotment Register it reveals that 48 Nos. of quarters have been allotted to the staff and 2 Nos. of quarters are lying vacant. 3.CHARGE Sri SuranjanPradhan, OAS-A(SB) assigned the Office of the Sub-Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Balliguda w.e.f. 17.06.2016. Prior to him SriSubhamSaxsena, IAS was functioning as Sub-Collector, for the period from 04.12.2015 to 24.05.2016. The RDC(SD), Berhampur has inspected this office on 09.01.2015 but the inspection note has not yet been released. Inspection Programme of the Sub-Collector, Balliguda for the Year 2014, 2015 & 2016 The Sub-Collector is required to make inspection of his own office twice in a year vide Revenue & Excise Department Notification No- 28594/R-Dt-19.06.97. But, the Sub-Collector, Bailiguda has not conducted the inspection on his own office during last two years. Besides this, the Sub-Collector is required to conduct the inspection of all Tahasils all Blocks, all Police Station, one R.I Circle from every Tahasils under his Jurisdiction once a year. The sub-collector should inspect the Tahasil Offices and R.I. Circles in every year as per instruction of Govt. for increasing of Revenue Collection. Page 7 of 53 5.
