SPECIAL REPORT CABLE TV PIONEERS BRIAN PATRICK BANE Brian Bane is vice president of network implemen- tation/construction for Comcast Cable, a position he has held since 2014. His responsibilities include outside plant construction and implementation strategies for the next generation of fiber networks across the company’s national footprint. Bane got his start in the industry with Prime Cable in 1982, working his way to plant main- tenance and headend technician in Marlboro, Massachusetts.
