With distinct pleasure, I welcome you, and I would like to introduce East Palaces Company to you. In recent years, Qatar has undergone tremendous changes with a whole lot of infrastructural and developmental activities taking place. East Palaces, which was established in 2001, has sensed this change and has been in the forefront of this progress.

Since inception, we have expanded our scope of activities from air conditioning works to waterproofing, trading and general services. We are the agents for Senator brand of air conditioners and Super Plats brand of colored decorative plasters.

I am proud to work amongst sincere, hardworking and professional people who consist of managers, engineers, fabricators, supervisors etc. We have a strong workforce of more than 200 people which are drawn up from different countries.

THE METHOD OF STATMENT

The Method of statement

For laying the Under Ground membrane waterproofing. For the raft and the retaining walls

(1) For the raft foundation.

A. To clean the blinding surfaces and to be sure it’s dry and with smooth surface.. B. To apply the primer bituminous coat approved one. C. To start laying the first layer of the membrane the lower surface should be heated with a propane torch, taking in consideration the orientation to adjacent rolls should be laid, each overlapping the one next to it by l0cms on the side and 15cms at the ends. And all taking care not to change the orientation of each roll. D. Reverse the process until each has been re-rolled. E. There will be at the parameter extra 30cm membrane from the edges of the raft for the retaining walls. F. Making inspection for the completed work by the consultant and main contractor. G. To start laying the second layer of the membrane in according with point No C, D, E, & F. in the other direction. H. The main contractor to make the screed protection layer 7cm for the water proofing membrane. Taking in consideration our attached sketch.

(2) For the retaining walls.

A. To be sure that surface is clean smooth and dry and there are no any holes or other problems in the concrete surface. B. To apply the primmer bituminous coat (Derma Primmer) C. To start laying the overlap which exist at the blinding of the raft through angle filter. Please refer to our attached section. D. To start laying the first layer of the membrane, with the existing over lap. The lower surface should be heated with a propane torch, taking in consideration the orientation to adjacent roll should than be laid, each overlapping the one next to it by 10cm on the side and 15cms at the ends. And all taking care not to change the orientation of each roll. E. Reverse the process until each has been re-rolled. F. Making inspection for completion of 1st layer. G. To start laying the second layer of the membrane with the existing over lap and to the walls, the lower surface should be heated with a propane torch and in according with the method (D). H. To make inspection by the consultant for the completion of the second layer. I. Start layer of the bituminous protection board. J. To make inspection for completion of the above.

The Method of Statement "Underground Structures Waterproofing System"

Our method of making the water proofing roof type inverted system it's as following;

1) Cleaning the existing surface of sloped screed from any slurry and dust. 2) Painting the existing screed surface by the approved Bitumen Primer. 3) Laying the approved waterproofing membrane at the painted surface. 4) Making a water leaking test for the complete surface for 48 hours against any leakage and make inspection. 5) Laying the approved types of thermal insulation sheet. the Extruded Polystyrene sheet (5cm) with 32-35 Kg/m³ density

6) Upon getting the approvals, start laying the approval type of separation layer.

7) Laying the membrane water proofing one layer as Skirting with 20-30 cm height all around the parapet setting at grove. with a mastic sealant inside this grove.

The Method of Statement "Roof System"

Our method of making the water proofing roof type inverted system it's as following;

6) Upon getting the approvals, start laying the approval type of separation layer.

7) Laying the membrane water proofing one layer as Skirting with 20-30 cm height all around the parapet setting at grove. with a mastic sealant inside this grove.

The Method of Statement "Wet Area"

Our method of statement of making the water proofing system for the wet area it's as following;

1) Cleaning the existing smooth surface from any slurry and dust. 2) Applying the Bitumen primer to the surface. The approved type. 3) Laying the approved waterproofing membrane at the painted surface. 4) Making a water leaking test by filling water and keep it for 48 hours. 5) Making inspection and get it approved. .

The Method of Statement For" waterproofing the Isolated footing and Boundary wall footing by Bitumen Rubberized Emulsion "

Our method of statement of making the water proofing system for the isolated footing and Boundary it's as following;

1) Cleaning the surface from any dust and slurry before starting Applying and it must be dry.

2) Applying one coat of AIM Rubberized Bitumen Emulsion 3510.

3) Applying another coat of AIM Rubberized Bitumen Emulsion 3510. If Required to Reatch DFT of 0.72mm after getting the first coat dray and inspected and making inspection.

4) Covering the painted service by polythen sheet 1000kg /m3 before starting the back filling to protect the applying surface.

The Method of Statement for "Membrane Self Adhesive 1.5mm"

Our method of making the water proofing system it's as following;

The Floors:-

8) The concrete surface of blinding must be properly floated finish clean and free from any avoid, honeycomb, laitance, coarse aggregates and sharp unevenness and from any traces of muster or curing compound to be removed, and must be completely dry.

9) Apply one coat of primer D-41 solvent based Bituminous allow the primer to dry overnight.

10) Start applying the layer of self-adhesive membrane by removing the release film by peeling back not more than 30cm at a time. Start to unroll the Adesobeit membrane keeping the adhesive side face-down on the primed surface. Press down the membrane by hand, and by special hand roller if required the minimum end lap should be 150mm.

11) Protecting the layer of self-adhesive laying by protection board and polythen sheet and screed of 3-6cm thick before laying any Reinforcement to the top of it.

For Wall:- 1. The concrete surface of blinding must be properly floated finish clean and free from any avoid, honeycomb, laitance, coarse aggregates and sharp unevenness and from any traces of muster or curing compound to be removed, and must be completely dry.

2. Apply one coat of primer D-41 solvent based Bituminous allow the primer to dry overnight.

3. Start applying the layer of self-adhesive membrane by removing the release film by peeling back not more than 30cm at a time. Start to unroll the Adesobeit membrane keeping the adhesive side face-down on the primed surface. Press down the membrane by hand, and by special hand roller if Required the minimum end lap should be 150mm.

4. Protecting the layer of self-adhesive laying by protection board and polythen sheet and screed of 3-6cm thick before laying any Reinforcement to the top of it.

5. Applying protection board and stick it to the Applied self Adhesive
