Rowling’s rags to riches story has been well documented in which she progressed from living on state benefits to multi-millionaire status within five years. In this Harvard Commencement speech she focuses on two key areas – the importance of failure and the power of imagination.

Rowling reassures us that “Some failure in life is inevitable. It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all—in which case, you fail by default”.
