ROBERT L SCOTT DISTRICT Counties include: Houston, Bleckley and Pulaski A WORD FROM OUR CHAIRMAN As our country opens back up for business we need to “Be Prepared” first for summer camp which I know many of our Troops are. Summer camp is the base for most Scouts outdoor program. They, our Scouts, are counting on it. Second is to ready your Pack, Troop or Crew for a Fall recruitment. Does your unit have a plan for recruitment and what does it look? Can you double your membership size now? There are vast numbers of youth that want to join your program how can we reach them and overcome obstacles so they can become Scouts! Our district is putting together a Team of dedicated volunteers to help your Pack, Troop or Crew grow. We have four now and looking for some more to share and brainstorm best practices from across the country. It is not just a flyer in the school! Watch you emails and our Facebook page for more information.
