Would You Like To Raise All The Money You Need For Your Scouts With Only One 4335 Confederate Way Fundraiser? Macon, Georgia 31217

We can show you how to earn that money in ONE Weekend! (478)743-9386 In addition, we can show you how to pass on that information to your scouts in such a way that it gives them skills to set their own goals and achieve a level of success that even they did (800)272-9386 not believe they could attain. Fax: (478)745-2686

No matter what you currently do as a fundraising event, you will be able to take away some- thing from the information presented. You will be able to pass on to your scouts the ability to develop better communication and public speaking skills, a greater degree of self-confidence, higher self-esteem, and the ability to earn their own way.

Each year Mr. Beck agrees to do a limited number of presentations within the Camp Master councils in an attempt to help every unit, every pack and troop, that would like to stop fund- raising every month and get back to leading the scouts through their training. Most im- portantly, each and every one of you is invited to attend.

Unit Leaders, Popcorn Kernels, Parents: Everyone is encouraged to come out and learn how to make your unit’s popcorn sale the best it has ever been.

A WORD FROM OUR COMMISSIONER OUR FROM A WORD OCMULGEE DISTRICT Counties Include: Monroe, Jones, Bibb, Crawford, Taylor, Macon, Peach and Twiggs Hello Ocmulgee District, It is with great honor and joy to introduce myself. My name is Jade Phelps, and I will be serving as your new District Executive as of June 14th, 2021. Briefly about me, I am a native of Montezuma, GA, graduating from Macon County High School in 2011. I went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Paine College, and received my Master’s degree from Georgia Southern University with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. Although my scouting background is limited, however, I have an extensive background in community service and reaching out to volunteers. I’ve worked for different organizations that provide me the upmost confidence that I will be able to perform the duties of this position, and exceed those expectations.

The District is starting off the right track for the year, with some volunteer positions changing and new leadership roles are being put into place. The goal this year is to increase participation in the area, and increase scouting in areas that may not have been reached before.

Friends of Scouting is heading into the right direction as well. The Jones County Friends of Scouting Dinner is happening later this month, with other events scheduled for the calendar year.

I look forward to continuing to reach out to many of you and possibly meeting a few you in the near future. I want to ensure that we form great relationships and continue the traditions of this District.

Yours Truly, Jade Phelps
