ARRIVING IN CAMBRIDGE First, print a street map showing Hughes Hall and surrounding roads. Air The airport websites give you full up-to-date information on travel. Further, the set- down points in Cambridge for airport coaches are on Parkside, a road very close to Hughes Hall. Coaches from other parts of the UK are equally convenient. There are frequent direct services from King’s Cross and Liverpool Street stations in London. Road From London and its airports, take the M25 and M11. Leave the M11 at Junction 11 and follow Trumpington Road north for c. 2 miles until the first roundabout by the Royal Cambridge Hotel. Turn right into Lensfield Road, and continue straight across the next traffic lights, by the Catholic Church, into Gonville Place. At the next main traffic lights at the end of the open land on the left (‘Parkers Piece’), turn right into Mill Road, and almost immediately turn right again (by the swimming pool) into Mortimer Road. At the end, on the left, are the gates of Hughes Hall. Taxi in Cambridge Ask your taxi driver to take you to the Margaret Wileman Building, Hughes Hall, Mortimer Road. Local taxi firms include: A1 Cabco - 01223 312444, Camtax - 01223 242424, Panther - 01223 715715. Cars at Hughes Hall Unfortunately there is very little parking space at Hughes Hall. Please only bring your vehicle into the college drive for unloading, and then take it to the public car park located directly beside the college in Gonville Place. If you need an overnight parking permit, ask at Reception in the Margaret Wileman Building. Please note that car clamping normally operates in Hughes Hall (but is suspended for unloading on Registration Days).
