The Vancouver Marathon continues to be a marquee running event in , attracting runners from around the world. The iconic race assists in raising funds for a variety of charitable causes while annually generating over $50 million in economic impact.

As Canada’s largest Marathon race, the event also features a Half Marathon, 8KM, Relay, Kids Run, plus a free two day Health, Sports and Lifestyle Expo. Founded in 1972, the Vancouver Marathon has a strong community legacy and remains a premium sports weekend in Vancouver.

The non-pro t Vancouver International Marathon Society RUNVAN® organizes the event annually on the rst weekend of May.
