Sri.D.Balakrishnegowda, Town Planning Officer & PIO, Mangalore City Corporation, Mangalore, is present. 2. This case was last heard on 26-4-12 and Commission directed the respondent Sri.D.Balakrishnegowda, Town Planning Officer, Mangalore City Corporation, to trace the connected files and to provide information and if it is not traced to file sworn affidavit before the Commission and to remain present for the present hearing. Also Commission directed Commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation to look into this case personally, take appropriate steps to provide information to the petitioner, etc. 3. Today, respondent Sri.Balakrishnegowda, Town Planning Officer and PIO, is present and he has field report dated 13-9-12 stating that further efforts have been made and in spite of that, the connected files have not been traced and in this regard he has filed affidavit to the Commission dated 12-9-12. Copy of the same is provided to the petitioner. 4. Petitioner states that in the year 2008 the file indicated in the RTI application were sent to Sri.Dilip S Gadiyal, Asst.Town Planning Officer, Mangalore City Corporation, as per the entries in the File Movement Register. Sri.D.Balakrishnegwoda also confirms this. 5. Commission directs the Commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation, to initiate appropriate enquiry and further he may initiate suitable departmental action against the concerned relating to non-availability of the said files. 6. In terms of the above directions, the case is disposed of. 7. Dictated, draft corrected, signed and pronounced in the open Court on 14th September 2012.
