← Back to Original Article Mexico: High-profile entertainers power new Cancun nightclub February 1 2, 201 3 | By Rosemary McClure Three former "Saturday Night Live" comedians plus soft-rock Air Supply musicians will spice up the night at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico, where expanded entertainment opportunities include a new nightclub named Noir and performances by internationally known entertainers. The all-inclusive mega-resort, which has hosted Shakira, Jon Secada, Enrique Iglesias and Usher, is to feature performances by "SNL" comics Jon Lovitz, Chris Katten and Tim Meadows on Saturday and Sunday. Air Supply guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist and songwriter Russell Hitchcock are to appear March 22 and 23. Resort guests receive complimentary tickets to the shows. Noir, the resort's new $2-million nightclub, was conceived by French designer Francois Frossard and inspired by the film “Tron." The club's onyx tone is offset by alabaster sofas and deep-cushioned booths. "Every year, Moon Palace strives to provide our hotel guests with the ultimate all-inclusive experience," said Gibran Chapur, executive vice president of Palace Resorts. "There is something for everyone at Moon Palace, from our new wave simulator to our brand new nightclub." The resort is on Cancun's south shore and has more than 2,400 water- and garden-view rooms or golf villa suites. There are two children’s pools, 27 holes of golf, a golf club pool, six Jacuzzis and four swim-up bars. The property also includes 15 restaurants and nightly entertainment at 16 bars and lounges. All-inclusive accommodations start at $171 per person per night, based on double occupancy.

"LITTLE NICKY" Written by Tim Herlihy, Adam Sandler & Steve Brill FADE IN: EXT. SUBURBIA - NIGHT A beautiful late summer night. Crickets chirping, sprinklers sprinkling. We PAN across one particular lawn, up one particular tree, where we see THE PEEPER (Jon Lovitz) sitting on a limb. He has a bottle of wine, some sandwiches, a Walkman. Suddenly the lights turn on. PEEPER (whispering) Showtime! We see a young mother walk into the room outside the Peeper's window. She is wearing business attire. PEEPER Rough day at the office Mrs. Dunleavy? (takes bite of sandwich) Well you'll feel better once you slip off those work clothes and get into some sweats. The mother sits on the bed and pulls off her shoes, rubbing her feet. PEEPER Oh my God, yes! I wish you would let me rub those feet. Of course I wouldn't use my hands. Heh heh heh heh... He sips some wine. Script provided for educational purposes. More scripts can be found here: http://www.sellingyourscreenplay.com/library The mother starts to unbutton her blouse. She takes it off, revealing a nice bra. LAMORINDA WEEKLY | "Grown Ups 2" Published July 17th, 2013 "Grown Ups 2" By Derek Zemrak Not much has matured in this latest Adam Sandler movie "Grown Ups 2." What does anyone expect from him, the king of lowbrow humor? The movie opens with Lenny (Adam Sandler) being urinated on by a deer. Need I say more? The toilet "humor" continues for 1 hour and 40 minutes. In this installment of "Grown Ups" (Sandler's first sequel ever made), Lenny, the retired hotshot Hollywood agent, relocates his family to the small town where he was raised. Lenny must deal with his wife, Roxanne, played by Oscar nominee Salma Hayek ("Frida") who wants another child. Lenny reunites with his childhood chums, portrayed by the all-star cast of comedians Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade, who are all dealing with mid-life issues: the other woman, forgetting the 20th wedding anniversary, and the long-lost son who shows up. Rob Schneider is the only cast member from the original movie with enough sense not to return. There are a few chuckles in the movie, but "Grown Ups 2" is not what you would expect from a summer Eric Lamonsoff (Kevin James), Marcus Higgins blockbuster release and is certainly not in the same league (David Spade), Robideaux (Johnathan Loughran), as "The Heat."
