Thank you for your entry. We are doing everything we can to make the day safe and enjoyable for you and your horse. In order to minimize risk of Covid, Equine Flu, EHV please ensure you follow all instructions in the following details and any guidance given to you by officials.

Pre ride: - Contact the ride secretary to notify ALL changes of horse or rider. Please do this as early as possible ahead of the ride. - Ensure you have packed your face masks and hand sanitizer. - Ensure you and your crew have submitted your Covid declaration online. - Please review and complete your EHV declaration on your entry. - Plan to arrive at a suitable time before your vet time.

On Arrival: - Please follow the steward’s instructions for parking, if you have a separate crew car that has not arrived with you, please let them know. - Fill out your mastercard BEFORE you go to the secretary, please present it without a plastic sleeve. - Ensure you wear your mask to the secretary and hand over your mastercard & any applicable parental consent/escort forms. - Please queue as directed at the secretary and approach one at a time. - Check the noticeboard for hazards, route changes and any additional instructions. - Collect your own bib, emergency bands, crew card and vet sheet from the numbered pockets.

On Vetting & Farrier: - Please allow time before your vetting to visit the farrier, take your vet sheet with you. - Minimal remedial work must be paid for (no complete re-shoeing). - Minimise queueing and remain socially distanced if waiting. - Present to the Vet Steward as close to your published time as possible. - Follow the Vet Stewards instructions on the one way system. - Only one person per horse in the vetting, who must wear the riders bib and a face mask. - Hold your horse on the opposite side to the vet. 1

On Starting/Finishing: - Please present promptly at your notified start time. - Riders will be started at 3 minute intervals (not negotiable). - Please ensure you have your map and your emergency details attached to you and your horse. - On finishing, you will be given your finish card. Please present to the vet within 30 minutes of your finish time.

The Route: - Please remember it is your responsibility to ensure that the safety Check Points have noted your number. You will be eliminated if you have not been recorded at all the required checkpoints. - The route will be marked with orange tags, and letters will be displayed at the corresponding points. - This is not the same set of routes as Three Rivers, although there are some similarities. Please do not attempt to ride from memory!

Crew Points: - NO crewing in Bishopstone – the roads do not have capacity for crew vehicles. - Please do not crew in Stratford Tony itself, however you can crew on the road out of Stratford Tony after CP2. - You may crew on the road south of CP3 with care. - You may crew on the road south of Homington, do not crew in Homington itself. - You may crew at CP4, please park with care as the roads are very narrow. - No crewing in Breamore village. - Please take care not to leave any vehicles unattended in front of farmers gateways.

Biosecurity: - All competitors have been informed of our policy on vaccination, please note that if you cannot produce your passport upon request with evidence of vaccinations you will be turned away and unable to compete. - Please note not everyone has been vaccinated against Covid yet, please respect social distancing and wear your mask in any situation where you will be closer than 2m.

Other Important Bits: - Dogs must be kept on leads and under control at ALL times at the venue. No excuses. - There are lot of sheep on route, please ensure your dog is under control. - All horse free areas will be clearly marked. - Please do not leave horses tied up unattended. - Please support our caterers, they’ve stepped in at the last minute as our normal caterer has had to isolate!

Please Note – This ride can only continue with the upmost cooperation from its riders and their crew and their awareness of other members of the public. Assume that everyone you meet is totally ignorant of equine behaviour and make allowances accordingly. Goodwill for the ride and for EGB in general can only be fostered by riders showing consideration for others, please slow down and walk past walkers etc., especially children and dogs and acknowledging their presence. Please be polite at all times. Any rider or their crew who is the subject of a complaint is very liable to elimination.

Directions:

From North/East () Take the A354 to Blandford Forum, go through Coombe Bissett, up the hill and take the left turn signposted Rockbourne. Follow the road for 2.5 miles and the turning to the venue will be on your left marked with EGB signs.

From South () Take the A338 to Fordingbridge/Salisbury. Turn off and follow the B3078 through Fordingbridge to . Once through Sandleheath, take the right turn at the crossroads, signposted Rockbourne. Follow the road until you see the EGB venue signs for the venue which will be on your right.

From West (Blandford) Take the A354 to Salisbury, follow the road into Wiltshire. Take a right turn signposted Rockbourne and follow the road for 2.5 miles. The turning to the venue will be on your left marked with EGB signs.

Hats – A hard hat with the chinstrap securely fastened must be worn at all times when mounted and must be of standard British PAS 015: 1998 or 2011 provided it is BSI Kite marked; European VG1 01.040: 2014-12 provided it is BSI Kite marked; American ASTM F1163: 2004a or 04a onwards provided it is SEI marked; SNELL E2001, Australian and New Zealand AS/NZS 3838: 2006 onwards provided it is SAI global marked.

Whips must not be longer than 75cm (unless approved for use by a para rider). Spurs are not allowed in any class.

Headcams may be worn but please consider GDPR regulations and Safeguarding considerations before publishing any videos or photos

Disclaimer of liability - Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Endurance GB, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accept any responsibility for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever caused by their negligence, breach of contract in any other way whatsoever.

Health & Safety – The Organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must equally take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all Officials and Stewards. For future route planning please feedback any hazards on course that may result in a breach of health and safety or present as a possible risk to horse/rider. Thank you.

Reservation of Rights - The Organiser has the right to cancel the ride or any class, alter the advertised times or refuse any entry.
